I was a walked in customer to order a chicken pita served by 1 of the 2 guys students on July 29th, 2022 of Friday evening at approximately 8:10 pm and was totally disappointed because 1st of all, one of these 2 boys students that walked out from the back of their store said their tilt is closed for the day and if I could use my card to pay instead of cash. So I did. Then as he prepared, I noticed that the pita had a black spot that looked like a black mold or some kind of a dirty grill mark on the pita as he was about to wrap with that black moldy or dirty grill mark. I then asked to change the pita because of what I saw. He went inside to pull out the new frozen bag and most of the ones in the bag seemed to have had some kind of black dots that it was kind of like dirt or black moldy dots & yet they still tried to keep it frozen. There was only 1 in the bag that seemed ok to eat. I chose that pita for him to wrap. So as he wrapped the pita, he was rolling it in a way towards touching his dirty apron & at this point I was so grossed out & felt I should have asked for my money back and walked out, but I didn't. I ended up throwing the entire prepared pita to the garbage instead because I could not risk eating it and get sick from his dirty apron that he used to hold & wrapped. Also the pita was not warmed enough & was all soaking wet with the sub sauce dripping from the pita. I was completely disgusted. This location of Pita Pit at 3315 Fairview St., Burlington Ontario of Canada is the worst place of all. I suggest the food inspector needed to check this store location before someone seriously get sick from food poisoning. Their service was so appalling unwelcome, rude, dirty, the pita bread was moldy & the student behind the counter that prepared the pita bread was so unhappy working there & served with an altitude as though he wanted to rush to go home for the day. I would never returned to this location even if they pay me. This is the worst, unhappy & the most unappreciated place to be their customer. Don't waste your money and time bringing them the business here. You’ll be totally disappointed or sick of food poisoning for sure if you are not careful by watching them how & what they prepare for you. I mean if they really want to close, they should have said they are closed and not serving instead of serving like that. This place is a disgraced. I don't think they will last long if they keep their careless altitude serving their...
Read moreI’ve been to this location multiple times and the food has always been very good. I wish I could say the same about the service, but it’s some of the poorest I’ve ever received. I visited the other day and I had an offer that if you spend $25 you get five dollars off. After 10 minutes of unsuccessfully applying this discount offer to my order, I requested that the cashier take the two customers behind me as they were waiting patiently. The employee kept advising me the only thing they could give me was one dollar off because that’s what’s coming up on her end. I’ll let her know this was not acceptable as I had the offer pita pit uploaded. When the two customers behind me were finished, I went back up to the cash and the individual could still not apply the coupon correctly. I requested that they contact the manager to find out the steps and they advise they were the manager. After another 5 to 7 minutes, they finally agreed to apply under their discretion the five dollar discount. I’m not sure why they didn’t do this from the very beginning. Then, during my last three visits to this location, I’ve noticed that my points were not being added to my account, and I was advised they couldn’t help me at the store. I contacted head office through email who requested that I submit a receipt and the address of the location. Today’s the third time I had to do this exercise and they are unsure why my points are not being automatically added and said this is happening to other customers. Today I drop by I was there at 9:40 and the sign indicates they open at 9:30 and the location was closed with the lights out. As well on March 29 I dropped by a different pita pit location in Burlington because it was national pita day (I had received an email from pita pit advising me of this). The two employees at that location had no idea it was national pita day and after 10 minutes of going back-and-forth I requested they contact the manager and when they did, they were advised it was national pita day. I’ve been a customer of pita pit for several years and although the food remains very good the same cannot be said about the service. I will be reconsidering where I...
Read moreFirst time walking in for lunch with a friend and I must say PLEASE, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY on this place! It is absolutely horrible.
The cashier who took my friends order entered the wrong order (unknown to us) then did the same thing with my order (still unknown to us) Then called the cook guy over and after they whispered a bit and talked in their language and starred at me, I clarified I gave you the exact amount. She then said no it’s this amount, and decided to ask for the difference. And asked my girl friend to come back and pay the difference too. Wow! Sounded like a you problem that should’ve been pushed aside but ok… Customer service at its finest!
So I was offered grilled vegetables, I chose grilled mushrooms. When making my order I saw that they only put 1/2 teaspoon of cheese on an entire rice bowl so I asked how much is extra cheese, the guy said 1.19.. I said for what a whole teaspoon. I’ll pass. He said if you leave a 5 star review I’ll give it to you for free. I said with a chuckle I’m good I’ll take my 1/2 teaspoon thanks. Then when I got my order I noticed that I had no grilled mushrooms but instead had grilled green peppers which sounds very different from grilled mushrooms. Not only did I not get what I ordered and had to fix the cashiers mistake, but the apparent black bean patties that are so good in the rice bowl was actually not.. it was disgusting.
Will never eat...
