The food was okay, a little suspicious of their Louisiana and mango chicken as others have also mentioned. It tasted like some kind of meat to me, maybe not chicken though. In terms of taste and value, I would say that it's more worth it than Manchu wok, just look at the portion they gave for combo 3. Service was okay, the cashier didn't exactly understand me but good thing other employees translated for her. Again, no comment on the atmosphere as this is metrotown food court we're talking about. Edit: I'm not sure how, but the food managed to get even worse. Their so called "bourbon chicken" is what they're known for, yet every piece was dry and burnt? The jambalaya rice has many uncooked grains, and what's up with the mango chicken? It's all fluff, no meat. Their corn was actually really good, I'd recommend you get a plateful of just corn.

Update: $14.99 now for a combo 1. Either my math is off, or they're making up their own tax. Definitely doesn't match up with their menu board. Reviewing the Metrotown Food Court location and comparing it to the Guildford one: Pros: - The food is good for food court food. - If you like meat their food is better than Manchu Wok, which is probably their main competitor in the food court. - Also cheaper than Manchu Wok I think. Cons: - Guildford is better - Blackened fish batter is like their coconut shrimp batter. Good, but I prefer the lighter breading at Guildford. - Smaller portions - Their regular Fried Rice has meat in it and they don't indicate that, so if you're vegetarian be careful. Guildford advertises it. You need to get the Jambalaya rice.

Come here all the time at Metrotown food court. Almost no line up. Food for the most part is fresh and tasty. Usually get the three dish combo with noodles. Blackened fish very tasty. Broccoli good. Honey mustard chicken needs a little more flavour. Came here again today and had noodles, broccoli, spicy beef, blackened chicken. Beef was good but chicken tasteless. Came again and spicy beef chewy. Chicken little taste. Udon undercooked. Came again for veggies and chicken. All good. Had broccoli beans chicken

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE AND HORRENDOUS STAFF ATTITUDE. My friend and I went to Metro to do some shopping with our kids, my son was a huge fan of their mango chicken and fried rice so he was excited to go off on his own to get the food. I asked my friend's daughter to accompany him. I went to get food from a different vendor. When I got our order, my son and his friend arrived in time empty handed and he is almost in tears and very heartbroken. Apparently as he approached to order, the people over the counter was shoo-ing them away declining service because he was TOO LITTLE. The woman even went as far as saying where is your older brother or sister, you're only 7. The kids are both 9! When I heard what they said to the kids, I went to the counter and asked the staff why they declined him service. They said that because he was too little and that it was understood they wouldn't serve anyone so small. I told them that's bloody rude, and asked them to apologize to my son for categorising him as such. I asked if they have a sign anywhere that an unattended minor will not be served. I'm small, too should I be declined service then for being "too little"??? I asked the woman again, she wavingly said sorry at me, I said don't apologise to me, you owe my son a sincere apology. He's the one you insulted. Another staff member then stepped in and said ok ok she said already while waving us away because a person was waiting to order. I am so livid that they treated the children so brusquely so I turned around and told my son we will never WVER patronise the franchise ever again and we will tell all that we know!!! I told my son to order at A and W instead by himself, while I stood watch about 20 paces away and he got waaaay better reception from the counter staff. We finished dinner and I went to the customer service counter to file a formal complaint against them. NO ONE HAS THE RIGHT TO BE RUDE TO CHILDREN BECAUSE THEY ARE TOO LITTLE. The woman even had the nerve to say " it's understood" when I kept asking about the sign that you have to be a certain height to receive service. I was shaking and am still shaking from absolute anger. I get they have "stuff that could be allergic" (the woman's words) but they could have politely told them, sorry kids pls come back with an adult and I would've been fine. Or apologised, but they didn't even acknowledge their mistake and just kept trying to...

Delicious and filling. Great value for a wide selection of reasonably fresh food. The workers seem to very confused about their own menu. The menu states that you can add 1 vegetable to a combo for $1.00, but twice we were given a hard time requesting this for combo #1. They were annoyed, but its the same thing as combo #2 but less expensive. Either change your menu price or honor what you have advertised without condition.

Feb.13/19 edit - the menu was updated to address this discrepancy

Mar.5/19 edit - ordered a combo 1 today (total: $10 with tax). The cashier entered it in as $10, then after I pulled out my wallet (which had some large bills), changed the price to $12.51. Confused why she changed it I asked if that was correct. She said "combo 3 right?" My plate was clearly combo 1 and was sitting right in front of her. After correcting her she changed it back. I don't care much about a few dollars, but I don't like to be taken advantage of. Be cautious...
