Edit! Happy to change my rating, and report this place is under new ownership, and everything has improved. The service is great- they’ve managed to find servers who care about their jobs, the food has improved (takes a little bit longer, but comes out fresh, and has great flavour) and they’re updating the decor. Great job!

I come here on a pretty regular basis because it's close to my office, and the food is quick. At least once per week. I can tell you with authority that the service here is absolutely terrible. I get that it's the restaurant industry, and stuff happens, but this a very consistent basis. Even though I'm a regular customer, I still get my menu thrown at me in the same nonchalant manner as everyone else. Even though I know my order before I walk in, never once have I been able to get the numbers out before the server has turned his back and walked back to the desk to check his phone. On more than one occasion I've had to search for an employee so I could pay my bill. Last time I was there the server didn't actually say a single word to me the entire time I was there- order was taken, food was delivered, bill was paid all with total silence. As luck would have it, I got fed up and went to the Vietnamese place across the street, next to the movie theatre today. The food, service, and environment are all infinitely better. Looks can be deceiving. The restaurant looks nice but the food and service was awful. The menu is expensive with very small size portions.

My friend and I ordered the same noodle soup during lunch hours and it took 40 mins to come out. The restaurant was at 30% capacity at the time. The soups were cold upon arrival. One of them was very spicy hot which was never requested. Both soups were insanely salty. The chickens in the soup were icy cold. The servers were stingy. They gave us only a piece of napkin and one really small plate of side veggies. My friend and I turned this sad situation into a comedy and duke it out to see who gets the napkin and who gets the veggie. The servers took the order and dropped off the food but never once asked if we needed anything else or followed up on our food. We didn't finish the food because it was nasty and we had to get back to work.

Later that day after leaving the restaurant my friend and I had some serious stomach aches and I was in pain. Luckily we didn't need any hospitalization. Save your money and eat elsewhere. There are hundreds of other Vietnamese food options...

Well I hate to give low rating to any business as they are not doing well. In this case please try to avoid this place if you are vegetarian as the staff has no understanding of that. I asked for a vegetarian recommendation from a senior staff and agreed to it with special comments of no meat and some vegetables. I get a bowl full of noodles and soup floating with pork. When I bring it to their attention that the soup has meat. The staff says I told you it has pork and when I told him again I am vegetarian. So he took the bowl back to the kitchen. To my big surprise I get a new bowl of soup and I take 2 sips. Something was definitely not right and I called the staff again to ask if it's vegetarian. Yes it is and I dip into the soup to find small pieces of meat. So actually they never made the new soup rather just took big meat pieces off and served it again. That's totally unacceptable and I did not see any sign of empathy or sorrow on their face. Very bad experience and would never return back to them. Please watch out...
