I have tried this restaurant inspired by some of the reviews, was completely disappointed by the outcome of it. The veg biriyani didn’t taste like biriyani and nor did the paneer. Both biriyanis tasted like they were made together but separated and called 2 different dishes. Totally bland and tasteless, we may as well have eaten white rice for lunch. But we could manage to eat the Biryanis with the biryani’s side gravy…gravy was fresh and tasty…

It was called veg biriyani but I didn’t get a single hint of vegetables, let alone veg biriyani. Same goes for paneer, but we could see few paneer pieces in the entire meal.

From what it seemed like, they reheated the same dish from previous days and served it, considering the freshness and taste. Personally, I did not even want to give this restaurant 1 star reviews, it deserves no stars, but I had to since I wanted to give my verbal opinion. I have ordered biryani at Dumka via UberEats app after seeing their enticing buy one get one offer. What initially seemed like a promising opportunity to enjoy a meal at a discounted rate quickly turned sour due to the restaurant's deceitful pricing tactics.

Regular veg biryani price in the app is $13.99 whereas budget veg biryani (Two third quantity of regular size) price in the app is $17.99 and then they are offering buy one get one for budget veg biryani. The restaurant’s decision to inflate prices before offering the buy one get one deal for budget veg biryani felt deceptive.

Additionally, while the food quality was decent, it didn’t justify the inflated prices. The portions were adequate but nothing exceptional.
