INDIAN TALES — Restaurant in Calgary

Finally, a place that is compatible with my sleeping habits 😴. I was working late, and it was 1 a.m., and I thought that there would be no indian food option available. Luckily, on Google, I found Indian Desi Tadka was open, and I called to double check, and they were open. Whoever took my order was very polite and well-behaved. I ordered Kadhi rice , Channa rice chickpeas, and Tandoori chicken tikka. Everything was very delicious and fresh. Food quantity was reasonable for the price, and their takeaway was great as well. Another reason to order from this place is their customer service. I am also eager to try their aloo and paneer prantha combos. We came to Calgary for the first time and landed at 1 AM. This was one of the places near the airport open late at night and so we thought to try it and OH MY GOD !

I’ve been living in Toronto for 4 years and haven’t tasted Indian food like this for such amazing prices ever in Canada. We ordered Chole bhature and stuffed paratha at 2:30 AM and despite it being so late the quality and taste of the food were fantastic.

I wish there were such restaurants in GTA, the staff was also very polite and service was commendable for the time we visited.

Will definitely stop by whenever I visit Calgary next time and would recommend everyone else to...

Honestly if there were more stars, I would give as many as possible for the great customer service. We planned to fly Christmas day, when weather was horrible and our flight was delayed. No restaurants were open and I find this Indian restaurant on uber but they wont deliver due to bad weather conditions, however I am not sure of the person who I called at their restaurant but they were so helpful and came extra mile to deliver my food to the airport at 3am. Food was fresh, delicious, looked appealing, just like home made. Asked them for water, they sent extra drinks for us. Really appreciate the effort they are making to stay on top for the great quality service. I can’t thank enough. On my list when ever...
