We placed our first order with Kan You Cake through Uber Eats today, and it was absolutely incredible! We ordered the Assorted Roll Cake Box and the Assorted Cookies Box, and we were completely blown away đ„č
First of all, the delivery arrived in a thermal bag, which was a very nice touch. Everything looked so beautiful and well-presented. Inside, we found stunning packaging, and to our surprise, there were complimentary gifts included đ
The desserts themselves were beyond delicious. We tried the roll cakes, and they were simply perfection. The balance of sweetness and the freshness of the fruits was spot-on. Not too sweet, with incredibly fresh fruits that elevated the entire experience. We were shocked to discover such an amazing place here in Calgary. Weâre already planning to visit the store in person to enjoy more of their treats!
The Assorted Cookies Box was just as impressive. The cookies were so delicate, soft, and flavorfulâlike homemade cookies baked with love. They had a perfect, natural taste without being overly sweet.
A special thank you for the complimentary gifts! They included a Far Breton cookie, which was absolutely delicious, and a dessert in a jar made with strawberries, cookies and cream. The dessert was so light, airy, and flavorful, with fresh, crispy strawberries that tasted amazing.
We canât wait to visit the store in person and try their full assortment. Weâre also definitely going to order again. The packaging, the presentation, and, most importantly, the flavors truly impressed us. Highly...
Read moreSmall, bright and neat little coffee shop. Inside you have only 1 long table on your right, if you want to rest and seep your coffee. There are also plates, cards and magnets to buy. It is rather funny to see in a coffee shop. The shop sells primary cake rolls for $5, but you can also find: cheesecakes for about $6.5, small package of various kind of meringue for $4, biscuit breton for $2, cannelé for $3. I went there on a Saturday afternoon and lots of cakes were already out. I had a craving for cannelé for months now. So I ordered a cannelé and a latte ($4.5) to go. The latte is⊠well is a latte, nothing to say about that. The menu for drinks is just 4 drinks if I remember correctly: Americano, latte, tea and berry. The cannelé was nice. The outside was crunchy⊠maybe a bit tough to bite through the cake. And the inside had the texture of a génoise, not overly sweet. I have some doubts about the texture though⊠I am not sure it was the same as the ones I used to have in France. But either way, I think it was a really nice cannelé. Next time, I would like to try the other cakes they have. They...
Read moreMy friend recommended me to this Kan You cake store. We were there after work and the only choices left is the swiss roll with earl grey tea flavor. Never had I tried cake with the tea flavor. It was kinda of odd taste but when I had another piece the next day for my snack, I find it's better in away I don't find too strong of the tea flavor in the cake. Our nephew tried too and he gave thumbs thumbs up. I like it especially it's not overly sweet and the cake is soft and fluffy. The cream...mmmm so good very light just like a whipping cream. For sure I will go back and will call in to order two fruit cakes this coming Friday. Also the lady at the cash register counter is indeed very friendly and great services. Thanks to my friend Diane Hong for a good...
