Small place on Inglewood with amazing, always smiling stuff. My TO GO place during working from office days! I just cant resist this fries with nacho cheesy dip and juicy fried chicken! Never dry, crispy, fresh, with lots of sauce or spices (what you select)! Mmmm yum!š Literally THE BEST garlic aioli sauce ever, dip chicken or fries - all amazing! Rice cups are wonderful too, I tried beef bulgogi Bbq and spicy pork Bbq - both worth it. The amount of rice combined with salad, cabbage, carrots and egg in hollandaise is just enough to finish and donāt feel over full. Plus 2 crispy small mandooš„. I really love Hankki as well and their portions are always big for me. In Kups I never took leftovers (at least not rice cups) home. It would be nice to have combo option for meat though - like if I am able to select half portion beef and half pork⦠Also my trick is add 2 shrimps tempura for $2 to your meal. So you can have meat + rice cups and enjoy shrimps too, instead of paying for separate shrimp + rice cup or appetizer portion (4 pieces) āŗļø. I am ordering there at least once in few weeks and they have their website, where it is easy to do pick up order and come eat ready food without waiting. Convenient during lunch time at work. And of course they have stamps too: each time you order rice cup, collect your stamp and after collecting 10 - get one for free. Even during writing this review already dreaming about nacho cheese sauce and fries from Kups š
The ONLY thing that is missing in their menu is⦠corn dogs. If they add mozzarella corn dog to the menu it will be hard for me not to go there daily. As for now Hankki is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWent to check this new little place out in Inglewood after seeing a post about it and it did not disappoint! You get to order at a kiosk and everything is very reasonably priced and good portion sizes - the bowls were all $12 or under, the fried chicken sandwich was $10 and they also had combos and chicken buckets available. Space is small but they did have a few tables and it's mostly a self help place where you get your own forks, napkins etc which I'm ok with. I picked a pork Katsu bowl and he got a fried chicken sandwich. Also ordered a delicious yuzu lychee jelly sparkling drink.
The bowl at $12 is a large portion and has fresh steamed rice, thin sliced cabbage salad, lettuce and the delicious pork Katsu plus a poached egg and hollandaise on top. Their chicken sandwich was much bigger than expected- large battered chicken breast with cabbage, their housemade mayo and some other sauce. Wasn't heavy at all unlike most burgers and very filling.
I'm so happy a place like this has opened and really hope they do well, can't wait to come back again to try their...
