Plastic in my daughter’s avocado smoothie did it for us after several issues with the order . Tried to communicate with the owners kindly about the issues but they just stood and looked at me.
Drove from Airdrie for take out order only for the order to be fixed 4 times with 6 ISSUES!
Things wrong:
2). There were special instructions for the second Banh Mi. I asked if she did that but she said she didn’t do it. Again she had to remake it.
I left the store, then realized there were no Avocado smoothie. Came back then waited some more for it to be made
Went back, and saw that we were missing an order of spring rolls as we ordered two batches. Thinking we get 4 per order for price of $9. But we also noticed we were given salad rolls even tho we never ordered it.
Went into store to complain. The lady owner said that the FOUR spring rolls were TWO ORDERS. Which leads me into the 5th issue.
5). She gave us the salad rolls as a mistake in place of the Avocado Smoothie.
6). The final straw for us!! AVOCADO SMOOTHIE had PLASTIC IN IT! See photos
That’s when I walked in and asked for a FULL REFUND! I was kind enough to express them earlier with all the issues, but all they said was sorry. Customer service was terrible. No discount or no refund. Until I came back after the smoothie issue.
She said she would give me a refund and just stared at me. I said “ how are you going to do it? Thru the online app?” She said “yes”
Then she still stood there. And didn’t do anything about it. Till this day (next day) I don’t know if I’ll be getting a refund. I will have to follow up.
Look I understand mistakes happen. And I am understanding but the overall experience in how things were handled makes me not want to come back.
I said to them. “Look your food is great and I want to come back, but your customer service is terrible” as they both just stared at me with no response.
The price is overpriced for the amount you get as well.
I won’t be making a trip to come out from airdrie any more. Not worth it. Will be waiting for my...
Read moreI have been multiple times, normally for take out and always had a good experience and the food is good. However, today we decided to eat in (torn ligament in my ankle) as I'm on crutches. The short haired cashier with the glasses was completely obnoxious from the moment we entered. I barely made it to the table when she told to order at the cash. My bf asked to see the menu and had to get it himself (no biggie until she brought the menu to a lady who walked in after us). Then as he is pasing me the menu, she shouts are we ready to order. I asked her to give us a minute very politely which she rolled her eyes to. We were hungry and short on time to go somewhere else so my bf ordered us the chicken special and the sate seafood pho. She repeated back #27 which he clearly said "NO the special chicken dish" and pointed to it on the wall beside her and pointed to the menu for the pho. Dhe said ok, he paid and she left. 15min later she comes to the table with #27 a chicken pho and nothing else saying we only ordered 1 dish and proceeded to argue with us over what we ordered and that she won't exchange the soup to correct her error and that they are out of the specials we can't order it. Rather than fight we took the soup to go, gave it to a homeless gentleman in the parking lot and left.
I will never come back here and I hope they fire her before their rating drops...
Read moreRecently learned they have a BYOP (bring your own pot) option! We decided to try it and it was really yummy and it beats getting takeout pho, and have it cold by the time you get home. Plus, if you have extra noodles at home.. you can just use the leftover broth.. bonus!
BYOP tips: it really is for 4! We bought for 4 and we are glad we did! Noodles and meat wise, definitely for 4. But there was plenty of broth, so you could probably squeeze 1 more bowl out of it but you’ll have to grab some extra noodles! You have to cook the noodles yourself (not in the broth, as instructed), before adding it to the broth and other ingredients.
We had the Pho Dac Biet, as it was a simple & easy choice. Very yummy and filling. The service was very friendly and nice. The lady at the counter even walked to the poster to explain the BYOP options to us. I also liked that they had non-beef broth based pho. My mom doesn’t eat beef (she didn’t try the pho this time), so it makes me happy we can get pho we can all eat together!
My mom had the Bun Bac Biet (deli special vermicelli), she said it wasn’t super filling and the flavour was a bit on the plainer side. The spring rolls were...
