OPA! of Greece Sunridge Mall — Restaurant in Calgary

Yesterday was my first time ordering opa as it was recommended to me from a friend I was with. The staff was quite condescending with me from the beginning. I ordered an Olympus bowl and a soft drink. The whole time the ladies were giving me dirty stares and when my drink arrived it was not handed to me but was placed near the till which was far from my reach. I was confused whether I could grab it from there and did as all the lady did was stare at me which unfortunately led to my drink falling. I later called a janitor to help me with the mess. Eventually I received my food and went to sit and done and noticed that my bowl didn’t have a sauce, I was confused because my friends bowl did. So I went to the cook and politely asked if I could have a sauce since my bowl did not have one. Then she accused me of lying and said “I always put one inside”, I was shocked because there was clearly nothing inside so I showed her the inside of my bowl to prove and then she finally let me have a sauce. She then told me “to have a great day” while rolling her eyes. I say all this to say that I was not only hurt by the behaviour and words of the staff but had my morning ruined by a situation that didn’t have to become so passive aggressive. I myself work in fast food so I understand that sometimes it can be tough, but to take it out on customers is unacceptable. I hope you guys take the time to train your employees on respect and patience. I will not be ordering...

I used to buy Oppa all the time when I used to work at the mall (Chinook Centre). My favourite are calamari and fries. All the time! I decided to buy at Sunridge while my bf and I were there last Saturday, around 2PM. I ordered the same item. Calamari but instead of salad, fries.The lady who helped me that day cooked the calamari too fast. I didn't see her putting on the timer. But not sure if all locations does that because at Chinook, they do. She cooked the fries so fast as well.And that caught on my attention because the fries she gave was too little. Which I usually get one container for calamari and one container for my fries. But no, she put it in one container. She didn't even drained it properly so the container is full of oil. Very oily. I paid $14 something. Almost $15. With a small amount of calamari and a small amount of fries. I should've went to McDonalds instead. No wonder why that time, there's not a lot of people going there because maybe they had a bad experience with them.

Btw, this lady cook another calamari after she cooked mine knowing there was no customer after me.

I won't go back to this location anymore.

What a horrible service today i decided to eat at opa thinking its like all other opa what a massive mistake there were 3 people working there 2 girls very rude one guy who was beening bossed around by both girls . My order was chicken with fries the girl who was absolutely nasty drity put in one order of fries for 2 customer and she shared it between me and other customers which was absolutely sickening. It felt like a teacher sharing a cookie between 2 students. We both look at each other and the other customers told me if you like i will give you my fries i was no ots not about that i payed $ 20.00 for my meals the girl didnt cook for 2 customers she only did for me and sharing between us. So sick and disgusting money hungry. The opa at chinkoo the owner use to own opa at sunridge and it was beautiful and now its absolutely disgusting the employee stand at the front and just look at you well getting your order ready and speaking there natives launague and laughing is disrespectful.
