Great value. This was my first time here and I certainly wasn't left disappointed. I couldn't even finish my donary was that big. So I don't know what other people are ordering where they're complaining about the size but that's definitely not the experience I had here today. I had the donair of the day which was spicy P.D signature Donaire. It was delicious. What I loved about this place was how many sauces that you can add to your order to customize it to suit your taste. I have 23 different sauces to choose from which is incredible. They have low fat options gluten-free options vegan and also dairy-free options for the sauces. Today I also had a couple of chicken wings which were on sale with the purchase of the Donaire. The dry buffalo chicken wings were nice and crisp and packed with flavor. This place also has a lot of different poutine and fries options such as the classic poutine buffalo chicken poutine Canadian maple and my favorite the carnivore.
My server today Eman . Was pleasant professional very courteous and he really worked hard to put together a nice meal for me. The only setback I would say was I wish that there were more staff available it looks like the owner should definitely have two or three people on hand at all times. I didn't think it's fair that just one person has to run the entire show. The restaurant was kept impeccably clean and orderly. The washroom was also clean which is a good indication on how things are behind the scenes. I'll even give five stars to the great smelling soap that they have in...
Read moreFor a $14 bowl, I expected more. Seems like one of those places that tells themselves they sell quality food to justify the price but they really don’t. Got a bowl and the rice were burned and did not taste good either. Server was unapologetic and offered me a drink to compensate. The amount of meat on it for a $14 bowl was also really disappointing, it was mostly the burnt and not so tasty rice with a thin layer of meat. Overall wouldn’t go here again
Edit based on owners response: I did not ask for free extra meat at any point, I saw how small the box was for a $14 meal and I saw the amount of rice it was filled with, there could not have been much space for meat so I explicitly asked if they can be generous with the meat because yes I expect a good amount of protein and not just a ton of carbs for $14. I asked once and the server explained they put 50 grams of meat and I said ok. That was it. I did not argue with anyone for the fries. I was not at all full after I separated the burned rice in the box, and I needed my calories properly, not empty calories to fill me up with a drink. She proposed a drink, I suggested fries, and she said ok. That was it, it was a 30 second conversation. As you can see from the owners response instead of being apologetic they’re also over exaggerating to justify what?.. tells you all you need to know about their customer service, and how they’re trying to justify over inflated prices for food quality that doesn’t match. You can get muchhh better food for similar price and many...

Whats good: this place seems newer, has a bright and diverse menu, and includes lots of topping, cheese and sauces to choose from. Lots of choices!
Whats not so good: I usually order a beef donair, but it was elusive on the menu, which is strange. I opted to build my own donair, which took care of that problem.
They have three sizes, priced at about $8/10/14 for small/medium/large. The medium however looks like a typical small donair, on a small pita. The amount of donair meat in this wrap was not satisfying at all. The donair was finished quite quickly, leaving me to wonder if I had wasted $10. I’m still hungry. The donair tasted good, but it wasn’t groundbreaking, filling or a good value.
I hate to say it, but asking for a tip at fast food locations should be banned. Since when has tipping for fast food been a thing? Defaulting me to pay an extra 15% for what, 5 minutes of your time behind a counter? I did not even sit down, you rendered no additional service beyond basic food prep. No, I did not tip here. If you offered me a sample of the meat, a free baklava or made this visit special, maybe I would have.
I wouldnt go out of my way to eat here or recommend it. Certainly not with what they charge for a medium donair lacking...
