It's between "liked it" and "it's ok" rating for me. I'd consider this to be like Thai Express from the mall in fancier packaging and location. Portion size was definitely good for the price but there was a definite lack of meat. We got 2 dishes plus deep fried spring rolls. The spring rolls were just ok. A bit oily and nothing special. For our mains we got basa garden and pad Thai. I don't know why we always pick pad Thai at restaurants since most of them taste largely the same and underwhelming (even at street side stalls in Thailand). The pad Thai here was good but nothing special and only came with 5 measly prawns. The basa garden was a salad type dish with rice. It had great basil and mint flavours which was Very interesting and pretty good but they put a bunch of lettuce instead of other vegetables which was kind of disappointing. Also, came with 5 small pieces of deep fried fish which was not nearly enough. I get proteins are expensive but I wouldn't mind paying a few dollars more for meat. However, then the price would be like restaurant pricing and probably doesn't fit their business model. Service was generally quick and efficient. Pay at the till. Pick up your food when they call your number. The credit card machine had the annoying tip option which I'm not a fan of at order and pick up counters. Shouldn't have a tipping option if all they are doing is calling your number. You shouldn't have to tip if all they are doing is cooking your food which should be included in the price of the food. But I digress.

A small place, that's beaming with bright colors (especially green). The addition of bright tuk tuk props adds character to the store. The service was friendly, fast and knowledgeable of the menu items. We ordered Thai ice tea, pad Thai and a sticky rice with mango for desert. The presentation was definitely nice especially the way the pad Thai was packaged (see my Instagram post). Although the pad Thai wasn't spicy even though the server told me it is. Regardless it has a nice balance of sweet, sour, and seasoning. The Thai ice tea was superb. Strong taste from the tea and the sweetness from the condense milk. As for the sticky rice with mango, the rice was consistent in soft texture with the right amount of coconut. The mango could be better if it was more ripen. Overall for the price, a little high for me even as a fast food. But food and service quality met expectations.

We had take out delivery: TomYum soup, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, and Red Curry.. Staying at a 🏨 downtown, thought delivery would be best, after an all day conference.. To much of our 😲, there were no 🍴or🥄 in the bag!!! How can you let an order out with out cutlery? 🤤😬😤 Service: 2✡️✡️ Papaya Salad : cold pack.. Soup: soup mix Pad Thai: salty, and lacks citrus/ tamarind/ lime/something?!?.. Red Curry: well.. Just look at the photo..i just opened the box.. 😩 yum right? 🙃It even has cauliflower.. Food:✡️✡️

Wish we had a better experience there but in the end it was a very small portion that was no where near the quality of what it should have been for a pretty high price. We were just in Thailand about 3 months ago and were excited to have some Thai food made by Thai people here as the food in Thailand is the second reason you must always go back (the first being a combination of all the amazing things to see and do and the wonderful and friendly people if you set aside the tour guides and taxi drivers who do everything to rip you off). But really,go to Thailand, you will love it! We drove from Mahogany in the deep, deep SE (just south of McKenzie Towne) just to eat here and were thinking that since they are Thai at Tuk Tuk and the ingredients to make Thai food are all readily available in Calgary and pretty much have been for as long as I can remember, the food should be excellent. Seems to me they are just trying to save a buck by not making the food as good as it could be. Plus i'm sure the container you get the food in is likely to be pretty expensive (although it looks like a lotus flower when closed so its a kind of novelty, I'd rather they spend their money on the food instead of packaging). I had the Cashew Chicken with coconut rice (there was no coconut milk flavour at all, the chicken itself was not too bad for flavour at least). My fiance and mother had the Pad Thai and the noodles were a bit under cooked, again a very small portion with so so flavour. We also had the Thai Tea that did not taste as it does in Thailand (again it should not be difficult to make it the same way here as all ingredients are readily available here), there was even a sort of rubber tire taste to it? Unlike other people who have said that customer service was bad, our experience was good that way, not amazing but still they were friendly and the food came out in a decent amount of time, however we would have been more then happy to wait a little to have better food. Sorry to say that we will likely not...

Today I made my first order in Tuk Tuk at Creekside Calgary, Menu -no bad options, unfortunately limited options for curry, Chicken or tofu??? Waiting time -up to 10min. - very good.I make choice - to go. Presentation - nice but I didnt find napkin and chopstick! If we will taking competitor -Thai Express - TUK TUK will loosing this competition. After my drive to home- approx less than 5min - food was cold and I didn't feel what this food is tasty at all. All my pad thai was like a stone. I also ordered-Roti for dessert. for 4CAD I get 4 no equal pieces. Taste -pastry ,not sweet. I can do same at home with a puff pastry. I believe this is my first and last time to visit this place. Overall 1.Price- overprice Place - clean and welcome. Always Greeting customers. Menu and plates - very nice. Portion - medium and smaller than Thai Express. Napkin and chopstick- not presented with food to go. Selected choice of curry...
