I had the pleasure of visiting Wing n It, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish! Rajat and Ishpreet have truly created a haven for wing enthusiasts and food lovers alike. The moment I stepped into the restaurant, I was greeted with warm smiles from the friendly staff, setting the tone for a fantastic dining experience. Very disappointed. While I understand shifts may be long and tiring, that does not excuse the clear behaviour of not wanting to provide good service. Our server Kennedy seemed to not want to be there at all. One of the drinks, came with hair (not a problem at all, mistakes happen). When she could not hear us we were replied to with “what”. Orders were also misunderstood. Asked to double one order (friend and I got the exact same order) and when the food was served one plate was missing so we let her know. Server said that “there was only one order made” yet when we asked to double the order she replied with “so two orders, sounds good”. The confirmation and yet still bringing only one plate out was clearly a mistake, however the lack of accountability and no simple “I apologize” and instead choosing to make it seem as if we did not order properly is disappointing. Another friend asked for boneless and was brought regular. No napkins nor cutlery (not a problem until we were made to feel as though asking for these extra things was a burden to her). When bill came, a friend and I decided to pay together. When asked if we could pay together, she looked at us for 15 seconds without saying anything, then in an aggravated tone said, “I’ll have to go make one bill then”. If it is easier to take 2 transactions that is 100% fine with us, but it is unnecessary to look at us like we are stupid and use that tone of voice instead of just being vocal about what would be easier. Initially I was disappointed as I ordered from uber eats and got bone in wings instead of boneless... not a good first impression HOW EVER I decided to go there in person unfortunately I must take the loss on the wrong order but the on in the restaurant is the focus of this review. I have sampled wings across Canada and this place is different. There are many flavor variations and I tried a couple in store after the bad uber experience. And they are amazing. The wings are tender and well seasoned / sauced. The control tower I highly reccomend if you want something different. Bur the Mach 3 teriyaki is a delight for those looking for something sweet with a small bite of spice. The dill pickle spears, mozzarella sticks and coconut shrimp appetizers are flavorful and well cooked. And the drink menu is great. There is one recommendation I would make. The N.F.O.D I really wanted to try just one. But purchasing them in 8 is a little extreme. I'd suggest like some others in B.C you may see more take the challenge if they could buy a single or a 4 piece. Hopefully I get the pleasure of trying your N.F.O.D to compare to other significant wing restaurants in canada. I hope to see the location thrive and I hope to experience the hottest wing you have at some point. 9/10 give this place a try. It could be a wing cornerstone for the downtown...
