I ordered a banana muffin and a cup of Dubai chocolate strawberries. The muffin was a little under warmed for the chocolate to melt. The muffin itself is quite fluffy though tasteless for a banana muffin. Chocolate is rather average. For the strawberries, at first glance, I expected the chocolate to be hard and crunchy but it was soft and melted. Not creamy and warm melted, but cold and an almost gritty texture. The strawberries were ok. A bit more mushy than I would’ve liked but tasted like strawberries still. The crunch factor was disappointing though. Instead they added what tastes like a dried, unsalted pretzel. It’s ok, but they could’ve done way better. There also wasn’t really much of a pistachio flavor as one might expect when seeing Dubai Chocolate, the strawberries were thrown into the spotlight when in reality, it should’ve been a blend of the two. Overall, the Dubai Chocolate Strawberries are definitely not worth the twelve dollars it cost and the portion I received but the muffin was well worth its price and size.

I visit this Blenz Coffee regularly after a run, and it’s a great spot to relax and recharge. The natural light that pours in through the large windows makes the space feel open and refreshing—perfect for enjoying a cold drink in the summer or just unwinding with a coffee. The drinks are solid—I’ve tried both their iced beverages and hot coffee, and they’re consistently good. Their pastries aren’t bad either, especially when you want a quick bite. The staff here are always friendly and welcoming, which adds to the overall pleasant vibe. While the interior design isn’t particularly unique or trendy, it’s clean, modern, and functional—more of a classic coffee shop feel than a specialty café. Still, it’s a nice place to spend some quality time with friends or get a bit of work done in a calm setting. Overall, a reliable and comfortable spot with decent offerings and great sunlight—definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

I just stopped into Blenz Coffee for the first time today. After getting double-tapped with a Covid & flu shot, I felt I needed a treat.  I stopped into the right place.  My latte was perfect.  Also, the friendly barista put the cutest panda bear face on top of the foam!  When I made lattes, all I could master were squiggles 🙄  I also had the Lemon Poppyseed muffin, which was also delicious. I just read some reviews saying the decor/music/vibe is lacking, but I disagree. The first thing I noticed is how clean this joint is, and I really like how much space there is.  The music is pleasant, and not meant to be anything more than background.  Some folks were there solo, some in pairs or groups, in quiet enjoyment of the space.  There is a very calm vibe in this cafe.

It’s really a shame that I’m leaving this review but I feel completely disrespected as a returning customer. I’ve ordered from them a few times. I always order delivery. I love the Caramel Cappachillo and it’s always delicious. Today I ordered a bagel as well. Most people would think that when the bagel is toasted, it would be buttered and have cream cheese spread for you. That’s what I’m paying for. Today I ordered a bagel toasted with cream cheese and butter. I left a note and instructions asking if they would please butter it for me before putting cream cheese on it. My notes were polite and respectful. When I received my order, the bagel had been toasted but they couldn’t bother to butter it or put cream cheese on. I paid over $4.00 for a bagel that this store could not even bother to butter it, especially when I requested it. This is blatant disrespect for me as a paying customer. It shows that this business has no regard whatsoever for its customers. They can take the bagel, toast it and place it in a bag with a knife, butter and cream cheese and in that same amount of time, it could have been buttered and spread. When I received the bagel it was rock hard because it was cold and had been toasted and butter was very hard to spread. I am absolutely insulted by this. It’s disgusting to charge that much for a bagel and ignore a customer’s note and not even butter the bagel when it’s been toasted. There’s no excuse for this. Shame on this business. In this economy, I will give my money and my business to businesses who deserve it, not ones who disrespect me and tell me my order doesn’t matter. There are other businesses that deserve and value my business, this isn’t one of them. I recommend if you want to be valued as a customer, to choose somewhere else to get your coffee. Blenz has now lost my business...

The most accommodating, and with the best attitude! I had a lunch to attend and figured I would go out on a limb and ask if they could make me a cheesecake at 10 am for a lunch gathering I was attending that day. I thought for sure the answer would be no, as I had already asked a few other bakeries. Without hesitation she said she would have it ready for me! Was not expecting that response at all, I was just going in to grab my amazing daily coffee and go search for a last minute dessert to bring to the lunch. Saved me from having to look any further! The cheesecake was a complete hit! Best cheesecake ever! No one holds a candle next to these guys! I was surprised how cheap it was for a top quality dessert, And lastly, The service is amazing at this location, the most pleasant! Greet u with a smile, actually pay attention to u, rare trait that does not exist anymore! They will always be my ‘go to’ not just for my daily satisfying coffee, or a great healthy lunch that does not compromise taste, but actually use them...

I have tried Blenz a few times and it makes me sad that I don't like it. On my most recent trip, I spent $17 on a basic egg sandwich (which has kraft cheese, an egg, and a sausage - even though the sign said bacon) and one of their medium chillinos (basically a frappe). Starbucks is cheaper! I really don't think the prices are fair. The drinks are okay. The blended drinks seem to be the better, however their coffee is often bitter and their matcha is not made well. I don't know if it is the tea they use or how it's made, but it has a plain, grainy taste, which is usually a sign of poor matcha. The seating area is minimal and cramped, especially when it's busy. I really don't understand those saying it's a good atmosphere. There are lots of windows that let you look out onto Jasper Ave. Unfortunately, the corner it is on is often used by preachers or protestors, which doesn't exactly relax you. Maybe it is up to preference but it's not my favourite place for a caffeine fix. However the staff are nice and the place is...
