I had purchased a Groupon for this place prior to the pandemic, but they still accepted it for take out! Quiet but spacious and clean. No direct entrance from the street, as you will have to walk through the hotel(?) door first, and then turn left. No free parking that I could see. The hours changed quite frequently and experienced a few times I wanted to use my Groupon but apparently the hours had changed. (First weekends were removed, then shorter hours, etc)
My greens baggie could have used more mint and lemon, but there was a ton of fresh bean sprouts. Size / amount of bowl seemed less than their other locations ? Overall, for the price I paid with groupon, I would say 3/5 stars and will likely not visit this location over...
Read moreGiven how solid the YEG Vietnamese food scene is, I left shocked how embarrassingly bad our lunch was here. The “Beef Pho Satay” was weak, flavourless and poorly made. Which is a rarity - as I typically leave no trace of pho satay given it’s one of my fav dishes. We also ordered iced coffees - HOW DO YOU MESS THIS UP? Both were undrinkable and didn’t filter properly - even after waiting 35 min for them to drip- and the staff, who avoided us our entire stay, could only offer more ice and were not interested in owning up to their abysmal effort to host...

A complementary pot of green tea was brought to our table. We ordered #59 on the menu - Tom yum chicken Pho. The large bowl of pho had plenty of noodles and chicken. The broth however only had a very small amount of tom yum flavor. We had to put some chili oil to make it spicy. On the side they served the usual bean sprouts, fresh basil leaves and some lemon. No napkins were provided and had to request twice for the napkins. Overall a 3 out of 5 for the pho. So far the best pho in Edmonton is at Than Than...
