Update 2025: Still one of the best bubble tea spots in Edmonton. It's actually one of the original 3. The owner is suuuper nice. Still the best hongkong milk tea. I highly.recommend this place for those who love their tea and for those trying to avoid too much sugar but still want to enjoy bubble tea. The owner respects the sugar level request and the drinks stay flavorful despite the zero/low sugar content. This is a hidden gem. Don't hesitate to try out. This place is one of our regular bubble tea spots regardless where we're coming from or what time of day.

Cute little cafe that sells yummy snacks, late night food and bubble tea. It was my first time trying this place because of the Chinatown Dining Week participating restaurants. For the value and items we received during the visit it was pretty good. There was a steady stream of people eating in and also many people doing take out. Its a cosy restaurant so I wouldn’t recommend eating sit down unless you get a table. The food was tasty but i really liked their bubble tea. I would consider this place a good place for late night eats; and when i say late night they are open til 12:30am most nights, i could see myself getting bubble tea here. Since i work in the area its good to know there is a spot for bubbletea past 10pm! Highly recommend!

Lots of space for hanging out with friends/ gathering Tea bar Café is the OG bubble tea place in Edmonton. It has been open since 2000 thus, it is the first and longest running bubble tea place in Edmonton.

When the boss first opened the restaurant, there was no bubble tea place in Edmonton. People had to go to Vancouver if they wanted to have bubble tea. Most people didn’t even know what bubble tea was. He chose to name the place Tea Bar Café because he wanted it to be easily recognizable
