Ordered through UberEats for take out. Ginger Beef: has a nice kick and not hard at all. Perfectly cooked. But 1 container was $17.99 and the portion wasn’t very big.
Pork Wonton soup - container was about half the size I was expecting especially for $7.99. Came with 6 wontons. Which were really good. Broth was salty but I think it should be. There’s something they put into the broth tho thar I just can’t pinpoint. Didn’t particularly like that but it didn’t ruin the dish.
Lemon chicken: I was again surprised how small the container was for $17.99. I also didn’t realize they had the sauce already mixed in with the chicken. Normally Restaurants (delivery) the sauce would come separately from the chicken. When I went to mix it up the batter on the outside of the chicken started coming off. Next time I order I will ask for them separately. I found some pieces tough and but the rest of the dish was great.
Green onion cake: the best green onion cake I have ever had. I don’t know if it will be like that next time I order, maybe I caught them in a good night? But it’s soft and delicious. Some places over cook them, blah.
Over all the food was good.
Food: solid 8/10 Portion size: 6/10
I know food prices are really high right now so I can’t blame them for having higher prices. I also don’t know what the costs on their end are. At the end of the day they still need to make a profit. I was disappointed there wasn’t any fortune cookies. But this isn’t the first place I have ran into that issue. One place I seen was charging for them.
Overall the food was great. Personally, I would rather pay more for good food than pay less for bad food. Especially Chinese.
I’ll definitely be...
Read moreThis is a mixed review. I ordered here a week ago (with a friend) and had it delivered. This business has a delivery system that forces an e transfer before your order is made. That's right..you pay first! You can't pay at your door with a machine. The food was really good the first time, so I wanted to order again. I had a confirmation that I paid $135 for my order. The business called 10 minutes later and said that they did not receive the payment. They wanted me to pay again..with visa! I said that I did not have $270. The company would not accept proof of my confirmation. They said that they would not deliver my food till they had some confirmation on their end and they did not care if my children ate today or that it was a birthday. I was horrified because the money was not in my account to spend any place else. I was hooped. It was threatened that the business was going to tie my money up, not bring the food, and they would give my money back if it came in an hour, a day, or a week. That was not going to solve the problem of a special birthday dinner. I would be on my own, be out that money, and need to order elsewhere (or I could pay this company twice). They did not care that I had a confirmation...that weather or not they received the money, it was not there for me to use elsewhere. I was called 5 minutes later and told that my transfer had just been delayed in arriving and to expect my order in 45-1h from that time..not my order time. I will not order from here again because I'm not rich enough to cover technology failures and I do not have the time to check my account for returned funds. The process was both devaluing...
Read moreI was extremely disappointed with the temperature of the food instead of being freshly made to me it seemed they had the rice , beef n mixed greens kept in a pot . The food was all luke warm & ontop of that the Asian waitress out of the blue called me a " Pig " only because I complained about the temperature of the food and had a full plate . I told her that is very rude to call a first time customer that name. I also did not care for her standing by the doorway pretending to be watching the homeless people outside but in reality she was watching my friend & I eat . This is so extremely rude not giving customers some privacy while they are eating. I could not believe there prices for a plate of beef n mixed greens , steamed rice ,sweet n sour pork , pitcher of water, green tea . The bill came out to be $44 & what pissed me off was the sweet n sour pork was only deep fried hatter with the sweet sauce, onions, green peppers but hardly any meat. I have ordered sweet n sour pork from other Chinese restaurants which there was fair amount of meet but never ever seen deep fried. I also at the beginning asked for ice cold water to which it wasn't only a hand full of ice with room temperature water in the pitcher then I asked the server to put more ice in the pitcher of water to make it colder. This is 100% not satisfied for temperature of the food , the server , prices. I will never go there again & do not & will not reccomend anyone to...
