Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience with friends at the Culinary Institute last night. We arrived a few minutes early so we elected to stay in the bar for cocktails while our table was prepped. The drinks were well presented and tasteful. The students and instructors were professionally mindful and engaging without providing a sense of intrusion. We hadn't finished our drinks when we were ushered to our waiting table overlooking the scenic harbour. The table-wait students and instructors extended the display of professionally trained service and hospitality, making the entire experience welcoming and pleasant. The food was perfect in every regard of presentation, texture and taste. Describing savory mouthfuls requires a creative talent beyond my capabilities, but the chorus repeatedly overheard at our table always included the words 'absolutely delicious'. At the evening's conclusion, I reminded myself that this is an educational institution; a classroom for students learning and honing hospitality and culinary arts under the eye of obviously talented instructors. We were well-served and I suspect many others will as well.

Excellent service with good food! Definitely a hidden gem in this city! Will visit again for sure! My personal highlight: 1. Coffee cream brûlée The coffee flavor is so rich and it is very smooth! 2. Pan roasted Salmon fillet I hate overcooked salmon which makes the fish dry and chewy. But the salmon served tonight was in excellent condition, with crispy skin being the highlight 😘. It matched well with the dill pesto cream

Simply the difference between eating and dining. Fantastic table service and incredible choices on the menu. Menu changes as chefs create weekly menus. Superb texture flavor and presentation... :-) You will not find anything here prepared with indifference or apathy. Gr8 dining experience, reservations suggested for dining room. For those in a hurry there is a cafeteria style below the dining room. Will be back...

I live on the Island, and my sister visits from Ontario each summer; for years we have been hearing positive reviews of the Institute from friends and finally got around to visiting you last night. As a vegetarian, I was particularly impressed by your willingness to accommodate my needs. Your staff were delightful, professional, and most welcoming. However, our overall experience was a little mixed.

First of all, the house-made bread and house-cultured butter were to die for! We started with an attractive garden salad and were both impressed by the quality and variety of the greens, but we found the vinaigrette overly tart and overwhelming. As a vegetarian, I ordered a vegetable strudel with a squash puree which, when it arrived, was a truly beautiful plate, but the strudel itself was rather dry. My sister ordered the tenderloin which, again, was beautifully presented but lacked adequate seasoning. The deserts were a similar experience.

Perhaps you had an off day? We'll...

Hi I am Naeem Khan I am a Bangladeshi I really want to learn international standard cooking. I have heard a lot of reputation of your institute especially in Canada, so I am very interested to take a course in your institute. I have completed the second semester of my degree running in my country, but I can speak English very well. I can understand. Can I apply for a course in your institute in Canada? I and my wife want to do the same course.

Because later I come to Bangladesh and I want to make an international quality hotel...
