Wanted to try Pizza Hut and order online to take advantage of online deals. After creating an online account, and then moving onwards to make the order, their useless website/app couldn't recognize my address that's 2klms for the restaurant. I have lived here for the past 5 years. So the address is good. The website sucks! I call the restaurant to try and order directly, but the guy who answered the phone couldn't be bothered to listen to me and let me finish asking my question for 2 more seconds of his day, before he transferred my call to another number and be put back into another WAITING queue because I said the word ORDER online in the first 10 seconds of speaking. Impatient punk. Then the guy who finally answered my call doesn't deal with taking orders. They only deal,with feedback and complaints. Well here is a complaint for ya..... Your staff are incompetent. He tries to give me another number to call to make my order. Click! I call the restaurant back yet again because I'm a sucker for punishment today. This time a girl answers the phone who sounded just like the first person. Thrilled to death I might be calling as a customer and just ruined her day by interrupting her meaningless life. All she could do was hum and haw while I tried to explain my plight. I just want to make an order for the first time!!! Is that so hard. Nine the less I hung up after giving up trying to get a simple answer to my question. Can I order over the phone and still take advantage of the online price specials because your website doesn't recognize my address? Simple question. She slammed the phone down and I could hear her start her question by yelling through the restaurant "Ok, so some guy.......". The reviews for which I found later only after my experience today should have been a red flag for me. But my wife and I were hungry. Well guess what? Not hungry enough to put up with this crap and lose 15 minutes of my life that I will never get back to deal with this crap. New PizzaHut online account closed. One lost customer before the first order was ever made. Will never even bother to try going in person to this chain or location. Will never recommend this location. Back to Panago. An online process which is easy and works, and where the staff on the phone don't speak to you like they are entitled, self-righteous...
Read moreSo I work a 14 and 7 with a extra day for travel. So before I left I grabbed a couple of pizzas for the trip. Now when the pizza was delivered I left to head up for work and figured I would eat on the way. Well my pizzas were so greasy they started leaving grease on my Center console of the work truck. Now this is threw the box and everything. So we figured shoot better way this before we have to pay to detail the work truck so we stop. Well not only were both pizzas greasy but the Margarita pizza was so soggy and literally fell apart you couldn’t even eat it. So we throw it out and continue on our way. Now I would have called that night to complain cept were we where at the time we had no cell service. And by the time we did the restaurant was closed. So I figured I’d just call em on my days off, well basically here’s how the call goes first they jack me around saying they can’t find they order I’m gonna put a copy of the email receipt up with this post don’t worry. And then eventually he’s like rudely I might add WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO ABOUT THIS!!! I’ve never as a customer been treated so poorly by someone who claims to be the manager. That I would tell everyone who reads this if you like pizza hut don’t use this location as it’s the poorest example of a Pizza Hut I’ve ever been to. And regrettably I’ve been eating at Pizza Hut since after baseball practice 40 years ago. Luckily there are other locations. Sorry if this review became a slightly long rant. I order two medium pizzas and the delivery driver calls me and I miss the call and call back minutes later and see that the driver send me a photo of the pizza at the wrong address. The driver tells me that I’m mistaken and that the address I provided was the address he dropped it off (which he was completely wrong as I doubled checked my order summary with my CORRECT address).. so this driver hangs up on me and refuses to pick up any of my calls..
Part 2- I call the Pizza Hut location themselves, and explain the situation… which they don’t seem to understand during the call that the food did not arrive and had to explain over and over again that it did not.. the lady tells me that it was the door dash driver who delivers for them and are not affiliated with Pizza Hut (which they are affiliated if they are working for them and it’s their responsibility). The lady says she’ll call me back but I don’t hear back for another 15 min… I call and call and call about 16 times until someone actually picks up the phone… (fml) and they tell me to wait as they need to contact DoorDash.. but they don’t seem to understand two things 1)door dash doesn’t have my food and 2) DoorDash doesn’t make pizza last I checked …
Honestly, the worst experience ordering food in my 35 years of existence and i cannot believe the incompetence from door dash and Pizza Hut … talk about a double whammy …...
