I was hesitant to write a review on my experience here, as I normally don’t. However, this was quite possibly the worst experience I’ve ever had. It was such terrible service, that I have never gone back to a Tim Hortons since. After my morning at the gym on my way home, I stopped in to grab a quick breakfast. It was just before 7am, so it was fairly quiet, other than the homeless people keeping warm inside. I waited in line to wait for my turn to order, being no one else in line, & an employee slowly makes his way up to the counter. He never makes eye contact with me, or my direction, nor says a word to me. I stood there for a moment, uncertain if he was waiting for me, or if he was busy doing something else at the till. After a moment, I make my way up & politely greet him. He says nothing to me, never even making eye contact with me. I begin to order, & he’s typing in my order, but never says a word to me! He never acknowledges me. Had I not spoken first, or walked up, he would’ve never taken my order, or done his job that he’s paid to be there for. I initiated the entire service, & he never spoke one word to me. It was so incredibly rude, I was baffled at the lack of customer service & professionalism. He clearly understood English, being he was able to type in my correct order, so I couldn’t rule out that he didn’t speak the language (which doesn’t necessarily excuse working in an environment where you’re interacting with the public). The lack of smiles is sad, but the lack of simple customer service is even worse. I have never gone back to a Tim Hortons since that encounter, as I no longer enjoy the quality of food, but the lack of customer service has really lost me as a customer. A proud Canadian brand that doesn’t support the Canadian culture of being polite & friendly is...
Read moreDonuts have been hard and stale lately and coffee has been old. Tried to tell an employee my donut was old she argued with me instead of giving me a fresh donut, it was rock hard. I use to come here often while out doing errands but will wait awhile before going again. Also outside against the wall addicts are always passed out.
Edit: 11 months later. I've been going back, figured I should give them a second chance, they blew it. I asked a staff member for a bag for my bagel and hashbrown. She looked right at me but ignored me. I asked again. She rolled her eyes as if I were burdening her and turned to grab one, came back, and threw it aggressively at the counter. I told her that was rude, and she replied with "you don't need a bag" and gave me yet another dirty look. I did need a bag. I asked her name and said I was calling in a complaint, she went and hid in the back without a word. I asked her coworker her name so I could call and complain. She refused but said she'd talk to her. I thanked her, then proceeded to look for the number to call and make a general complaint, as I couldn't get a name. I was approached by a third lady, perhaps the supervisor. She apologized and said she would talk to the rude worker and acknowledged that I'd been a regular customer and always kind to the staff. I thanked her and meant it, she is always good... but I won't be back. I hope you deal with the problem you have had with rude staff this past year. I used to love stopping by here while out on errands, in part because I like bagels, but also, because the staff was always friendly. What happened here? I don't have this problem at any other Timhortons here in Langley, or even other fast food places in general. This restaurant has the worst service in all of Langley as far as...
Read moreI just ordered at the Tim Hortons in Langley, located at 20300 Douglas Cres. I ordered in the drive thru, a bacon and egg on an English muffin double toasted. And an ice Capp. I gave my Tim Hortons app scan and she scanned it and, apparently, it didn't work. I received a sausage and egg on a muffin...so I had to park and go into the restaurant. After waiting in line, I told the cashier that I received a sausage and egg muffin and I had ordered bacon. The lady at the till (touching the till and handling cards and money) opened it and saw a piece of bacon the size of a thumb nail and said "This does have bacon" I said, "no it doesn't and it has sausage, that I do not like" She put the food down and walked away and another employee made me the correct order. I am not one to complain, because I know everyone is doing their best. Today, however, I was not happy with the service or how they rectified this issue. I collect points and use the app often and I have had other issues with this location but have not bothered to make an issue about it. Everyone makes mistakes so I am never upset if that happens. When it does happen, I do not want someone whose hands are not clean to open the sandwich and decide there is, in fact bacon in it, when it has sausage, an ingredient I did not order or like to eat. I am not upset at the inconvenience of having to park, go in the location and wait in line.....it is how I was treated after doing so. I hope this situation can be rectified as I know that Tim Hortons prides itself on...
