Warning ** Employees not washing their hands before preparing food.
This is the standard of quality that you will receive at this location as of Thursday June 6 2024, 7 am. walking in . I asked for an everything bagel with butter and recieved a mangled , near butter less bagel. This is not to any standard or even preference ,there is not even a quarter teaspoon of spread on my bagel. You have disrespected the smear , I don't know how this flys.
Making matters worse , as I waited to be served this morning , an employee entered the restaurant to start their shift. She greeted everyone taking their attention away from service , she then proceeded to make her self her own bagel in the toaster, in her street clothes, and continued the conversation with everyone behind the counter. I stood by until she had left to the back and then finally my order was taken ... I waited for my coffee and what is clearly a bagel that has no spread and looks like it fell on the floor and was stepped on ,before they toasted it. I waited longer for this bagel to be made then it took the arriving employee to come in , make herself breakfast and chat. Not to mention it was longer I stood in line initially as well just waiting to have my order taken the time it took the employee to grab a bagel and make it for herself...in her street clothes.
Thanks for great service and food ...it was terrible, I'm being facetious! I'm not even that overly critical , but this was dreadful service wait time and food quality. And I can go ask for this to be addressed and corrected, but this seems to be a reoccurring theme in fast-food especially at timhortons in Langley ,Should I have to ?
Warning*
The employee did not wash their hands before preparing her bagel, I watched her enter the store from the street, go directly behind the counter, began chatting to the entire staff of about eight people , then go directly to food storage and went to directly preparing her own food with the utensils! This is basic food safe 101 and this type of practice can get people severely sick. I did not eat my food, and am thinking about the lack of care and consideration while I have drank half...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI had an extremely disappointing experience with this location. I came through the drive thru to order some food, some of which was 2 four cheese twists. One was okay, not great, the other was rock hard and inedible. So after work I went back to let them know and they told me no problem, they would replace the twists free of charge and make them fresh, to just park in the parking lot and they would bring it out. Nearly 15 minutes goes by and nothing so I go inside to see what's going on. I asked where the fresh twists were as I had been waiting a while and the one girl says nothing but grabs 2 out of the old bin and goes to put it in the microwave (this is after they told me they were in the process of making me fresh). So she and the rest of the staff were blatantly ignoring me at the front until finally she comes back with the old twists. And I expressed I had wanted fresh ones, not old hard ones. And so she walks away and then they all continue to ignore until I had to get their attention a couple more times and another girl comes up and says 'they're fresh, I don't know why they taste like that.' So now I'm more upset because not only did they not make fresh as they said they were going to but they were being rude and ignoring me and the gentleman behind me. I have worked multiple fast food places before myself so I can understand the stress that can come with it but none of this behavior was okay. Needless to say after 25 minutes of nonsense I walked out with no food and a refund and feeling...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis is the most inconsistent location especially when it comes to the most basic thing as their coffee, which is one of the reasons people go to timmies is consistency on the way they like their coffee. The coffee brew itself tastes different all the time. Also they can never seem to get the right amount of cream or sugar. Part of that reason I believe is because this location doesn't write on the cup as they should for themselves and for you. I believe also because of this reason you are given the wrong coffee sometimes because they have one of those stupid bottlenecking drive-thurs that converge into one that serves no purpose except to confuse the employees as to who's orders are who's. Ive only gone inside once and Ive never seen such slow staff at a timmies with zero hustle. And I wish I took a pic of how wrong the timbits looked. The chocolate ones had about one spec of glaze on each if any and the sour cream glazed looked like a clump of deep fried dough. If they cant get these right I can only imagine how bad the rest of the food is here. Its almost like this location isnt even affiliated with tim hortons and are just some sort of bad knock off....
