Pizza Pizza — Restaurant in Clarington

i don’t ever post bad reviews but i am so dissatisfied with my service today that i feel the need to. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS LOCATION!

i ordered a plant based chicken sandwich combo. when it arrived it was real chicken. i felt disgusted after biting into a chicken sandwich after not eating meat for 8+ years just because of an employees’ careless mistake. i called & asked to receive a new one. i didn’t receive an apology or anything which is absolutely ridiculous. regardless, i wasn’t angry because mistakes do happen… but an apology would’ve been nice. the man on the phone told me that the delivery man will be there soon with a new sandwich. 45 minutes later they still hadn’t arrived with the new sandwich. i called again & they said that the delivery man was a few minutes away. 25 minutes later & they still hadn’t arrived. i called again & asked for a refund, to which i was told that i couldn’t receive a refund. about 10 minutes later & the delivery man had finally arrived. the sandwich wasn’t even hot at this point. i tried to call again to ask for a refund for a second time because i had waited nearly two hours for one sandwich in total, & the sandwich wasn’t even hot. the phone didn’t even ring. i’m assuming they had blocked my number when i was nothing but polite during the entire situation.

i order from this location quite frequently, atleast once a month… but i will never be ordering from this location ever again. the customer service skills are complete garbage. i would never recommend ordering from here, especially if you’re ordering a plant...

I dont write reviews, but was no happy with my experience enough to express. I had wanted a few slices for a few different folks to go. I did the walk-in option to this location. I inquire how long the pizza slices were on the shelf. 3 out of the 6 were not great looking. The one type looked really old. I asked if I could have that one particular with some new cheese sprinkled on the top as it appeared to be dry. So this would be more enjoyable to eat. I was told that it would cost an extra?! I asked how long it was in the display. No managment had walked over to assiant me and the front floor boy had to walk back and forth to inquire as I was asking. There was no line and one other man waiting for his pizza infront of me. With this I expresa poor customer service and you missed out on five slices. I told the boy to let the team lead know. Unfortionatly I work for the Bowmanville Hospital and will be expressing this to my staff. Dissapointed in this location and I wont be back, they also let down the others who wanted to eat here. Wow, has this place ever gone downhill since I last visited a few years ago. Dark and dirty are words that come to mind at this location. I probably could have looked past those if not for what appeared to be a homeless person passed out hunched over one of the tables that the staff seemed to have no problem with.

Pizza was of relatively poor quality. Ordered a cheese blend with a thick crust and neither of those were present in the final product. Overall pizza quality was poor - far worse than one would expect from a frozen microwave pizza. There are locations for Pizza Pizza where you'd swear they're using different ingredients from this location, but they're not - it's just a matter of pride in the final product and this location clearly doesn't have it.

This location has slipped far below what I would expect from this company. Too bad because years ago they tried much harder; though I assume the franchisee has changed since then.
