I am a regular customer who frequently visits the drive-thru in the early mornings. That said, I’ve recently reduced my visits and upgraded my coffee machine at home because the customer service at this location is consistently mediocre. This morning’s experience was disappointing.
After placing my order at the speaker, I asked the employee for my total, which should have been offered to me. She responded, “I didn’t punch it in because I’m making drinks,” and then I saw her go to the register through the window. Some customers, like those paying with cash, need to know their total to pull out the correct amount.
She incorrectly enters my drink because she tried to memorize my order instead of properly taking it. I corrected her. If an employee is busy, they should let the customer know and wait until they’re ready to proceed. Attempting to memorize custom drinks and skipping steps like providing the total leads to mistakes.
After I paid, she handed me my drink without the label. When I asked about it, she replied, “Oh, I don’t know,” and pretended to look for it. The label is important to verify that their order was prepared correctly and to their specifications, this isn’t a preference it’s a Starbucks standard.
This location seems to routinely cut corners on service that should be a given at a “high-end” coffee establishment. Additionally, staff often appear offended when a customer double checks their order or points out an error. When customers are spending $7–8 on a coffee daily, they expect better service and professionalism. Two things this location could...
Read moreI have been regularly coming to this Starbucks since August 2022 when I moved to the area. More recently, I have noticed consistent issues when visiting. I typically go through the drive through before work. On my last three visits (April 2022), the drive through lines have been extremely slow to the point where last time I was stuck in the line for OVER 15 minutes. When I finally got to the window, no one greeted or spoke to me for another five minutes before I finally received my order. I understand the morning busy rush but I have always gone at the same time and it had never been this slow. I actually ended up ten minutes late for work and was shocked that the line took that long to get through. I could see my order ready to go once I got to the window but everyone inside was busy and I didn’t get my order when I should have. Today, I planned on going through the drive through. The line was extremely long once again so I decided to go inside. I was able to place my order right away and waited around ten minutes to receive two drinks (one hot, one cold) and a breakfast sandwich. While waiting, I noticed the disorganization and mess in the store. The counters were covered in coffee ground and matcha powder. The individuals working seemed a little flustered. After I left I saw the same cars in the drive through with maybe two people having moved up. I’m not sure if it is the lack of staff working or the lack of proper training or organization but this Starbucks location has unfortunately gone...
Read moreStarbucks...a place of "inclusion". Hhhmm. So this is not the first time this has happened, but its the first time i am posting something about it. So i walk in to my usual place. The difference is that im wearing a Christian messages sweatshirt. As i was walking up, the one young girl immediaty walks back and says very softly if someone can help me. I thought that wad interesting. She didnt wvem say a word to me before she walked away from serving me. Then i stood there with a smile and waited to be served. 1 girl was sweaping the counter, one was making drinks, the other was actually very close to the till but was doing something - nothing that looked important. No one wpuld acknowledge me...but they did notice my sweatshirt. I cant read their minds but it looked pretty suspicious to me. Nit even a hello, nothing. 2 of the 5 girls on staff were not doing much at all..the other 3, well one could have grabbed my 3 second order. Some inclusion. But having said this...this is not the first tome it has happened at a starbucks when i wear Christian messages clothing. Quite disappointed but not surprised. I cant confirm nor deny thatthe motives of the staff were malace at all, but to me on the other side it sure looked and felt that way. Disappointing to say the least. To be looked at and ignored so openly...says alot about things...
