I really should have read through the comments before deciding to waste my time and money at this location. On my visit, the order taker at the drive thru should not be dealing with customers. DQ management should spend much needed time with their staff training them to be professional. They were bantering with the vehicle ahead of me for not agreeing to donate more money to whatever charity they are supporting. When i approached the speaker, you can hear her talking to her colleagues about it and then immediately went in to "...are you ready to order?". The line in the drive thru was also moving very slow and when I got to the window to pay, you can see the workers were all looking stressed out running around and one frustrated yelling at another about what was missing from the previous order. It was like a reality show drama in front of me. This appears like an underpaid staff working beyond their capacity trying to get the orders taken care of as quickly as they can. DQ should be ashamed of such an operation. I hope those donations they are asking for are going toward paying their workers better because that spectacle I witnessed at the drive thru line, at the speaker and at the window is a clear sign of this business needing some help. At almost $10 an ice cream and a reputable franchise, this behaviour is totally unacceptable. I'm not sorry for saying this...I am completely turned off by what looks like corporate greed letting undertrained and overworked staff...
Read moreI used to be under the impression that the DQ was way more expensive than some competing fast food chains. Ever check out the price of a McDonald's burger or breakfast sandwich lately, if you don't have a coupon? DQ has lunch special prices and they have online coupons and deals available. I have always thought their food; particularly the burgers and anything to do with ice cream: treats, sundaes, milkshakes, and floats; are far better than those available at almost every other fast food chain, including McDonald's. I don't know if they have a happy meal equivalent but that's of no concern to me now. I had a cheeseburger combo here and it was excellent. Admittedly, McDonald's fries are better than DQ's, it's the one thing McDonald's does really well. That being said, DQ fries are good and the burger was far better than any McDonald's offering, including their Mighty Angus burger. Restaurant was clean, the staff very nice, and the food was prepared almost as fast as McDonald's, being freshly made. Definite 5 star recommendation for a fast food...
Read moreAs an overall experience, this is just my go to fast food if I don't wanna mess around specifically this location too. Every single time, every time I get consistent experience from these people, and when I go myself to pick up the food its the same with great service very friendly and always happy to make a change if you happen to want another item when you get to the window. Consistency is tough to beat, and this location gives me the same thing every time some decent sized to large portions, delicious frozen treats, and a smile to top it off. The only issues I've ever had was with drivers I blame the drivers not the location, a driver taking 45 minutes when I live within 10 to 15 max with bad traffic. But thats skip. This DQ is consistently the best choice when I just want a burger and I dont wanna risk having something drenched in sauce or so dry my drinks done before I touch any...
