Tapsilog Filipino Cuisine — Restaurant in Edmonton

I've been here twice this week. And the 1st day I went here, I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Although you have to enter their gloomy sketchy looking grocery store (they sell familiarly good Filipino products and treats) It was a night and day difference in terms of its ambiance.

They have reasonably priced ala carte menu and they also have what we call in the Philippines turo - turo style dining. (wherein you have to pin point the dishes that you like) 3 viands for $10 was a steal for their portion sizes.

Loved their dinuguan (blood stew), Sinigang (Sour pork stew) and binagoongan (Salted tiny shrimps on pork)

The staff when I dine on the first day was Uninviting. ( their aura look and feels like they don't like what they're doing )

2nd day I ordered their tapsilog and sisilog. *tapsilog was too sweet but, tender. *sisilog was terrible but, the fried rice was good.

Their Morning team was welcoming but, the owner (Filipino guy wearing a honda cap) when I tried to order something again he did completely ignored me while I was in front of him and acknowledged me after a minute.( It was a long akward stand off like Im begging him to serve me food) It was like the sloth scene...

How i wish there is a negative star for this survey LOL!! Very very very POOR Service! First at 11am they still have no food at "turo turo viands" so you will ended up ordering a all day breakfast which takes a decades to cook, second ordering food is also a struggle coz the one who "cooks" "serve" "cashier" is the same one person! I even experienced a total ignore when im ordering and ended up to just leave the place and hey two times they forgot that i ordered my food and i waited more than 30mins for nothing and once again i just leave the place!!! Even paying your foood is struggle coz you have to go to the another store just to pay your meal 😩 So yeah i observed the service the system etc and no improvement at all! If you want to save time and energy just dont eat at this place! very disappointed honestly!...

The food was delicious as always, i have no problem going again, the only problem was and hospitality of the worker, big lady who was suppost to take our order just stod there after 10mins, she di not even greet the customers that walk in the restaurant, which was every disappointing to see in a Filipino restaurant, because they are very hospitable people, the chief saw us waiting and to Initiative, he had to take our orders because the lady was being rudely unhospitable, furthermore when she served our food she just threw them on our table like it was a piece of garbage, she had a very bad attitude, which is nakakawalang gana kumain sa restaurant nila, other than that we enjoyed our food, and have no problem eating there again, but maybe next time we'll just order there food on skip...
