I recently had the pleasure of dining at A&W, and I must take a moment to highlight the exceptional service provided by their cashier, Grace. Her warm and welcoming demeanor, along with her attention to detail, truly made my visit memorable.
From the moment I approached the counter, Grace's friendly smile and genuine enthusiasm set a positive tone for my experience. Her professionalism and eagerness to assist were evident as she took my order with utmost patience, ensuring that every aspect of my meal was tailored to my preferences.
What truly stood out was Grace's impressive product knowledge. She was able to answer all my questions about the menu, making insightful recommendations that perfectly matched my taste. Her dedication to ensuring my satisfaction was clear, and she went above and beyond to accommodate any special requests I had, making me feel like a valued guest.
Throughout my visit, Grace maintained a high level of efficiency without compromising the quality of service. She managed the busy rush with grace (no pun intended), ensuring that all customers received prompt and personalized attention. Her multitasking skills and ability to handle pressure reflect her dedication to her role and the establishment.
As I enjoyed my meal, I observed Grace interacting with other customers as well. Her kindness and patience shone through in every interaction, making each guest feel important and welcomed. It's evident that she takes pride in her work and genuinely cares about the satisfaction of...
Read moreService was poor, and I did not get what I ordered. I was using their self check-out PC, and there was no option for payment at all. I asked a female staff member how to pay with the machine, she looked at me and said, "I have no idea" and then walked away - did not even ask someone more experienced than her to help me with my order. When I had to wait for my sister to return to redo her order in-person at the cash, I was prompted by the same female staff member and a male staff member as to why I was standing there, having to repeat that their machine does not work thrice and being stuck behind five other people who came to order after me.
After getting my order in, I made a note to the female staff member that my order should specify what type of bun the sandwich was on. She assured me it was fine, that the backend staff would use the bun I requested. Wrong. I received the wrong type of bun, and they nearly forgot my hashbrown - I was on my way out the door before the backend staff called me back to rectify the problem.
I was not impressed by the service and the inaccuracy of the order, moreso the former than the latter. If you don't know how to help, find someone who does - this is the first rule of customer service in...
Read moreMy experiences at the A&W on campus have been inconsistent, to say the least. While the menu offers customizable options and the convenience of on-campus dining, the service leaves much to be desired. On one occasion, I was pleasantly surprised to find a customized burger priced at $4, only to return the next day and be charged double the amount without explanation. The staff appear disorganized and often seem unsure of procedures, leading to confusion and frustration among customers.
Adding to the disappointment is the apparent absence of a supervisor on site most of the time, leaving employees to fend for themselves in resolving issues. This lack of oversight contributes to the overall sense of chaos and inconsistency at the establishment.
In conclusion, while the A&W at campus may offer convenient dining options, the erratic pricing and lack of supervision detract from the overall experience. Improved training and management oversight are needed to ensure a more seamless and reliable service...
