Chatime Bubble Tea — Restaurant in Electoral Area A

Despite being second in the line, it took me half an hour to get my bubble tea. The inexperienced staff messed up my order and I ended up paying for the customer before me that didn't order anything, then proceeds to acquire assistance from another inexperienced staff, who seeked help from a somewhat experienced staff, who took a while to finally figure out how to give me a refund, and then I finally payed for my original order, while a huge line formed behind me. Think about my time, your time, your potential income by serving a load more customers, and me as a returning customer. Instead y'all choose to waste everyone's time, when you could've just gave me my order at a 4 dollar loss because it was YOUR mistake. Drinks also tasted watered down, I will be walking 3min to Coco for better drinks, prices, and service. Sorry but I'm not coming...

They have self-service kiosks here, which make it much faster to order. The wait time has usually been around 5-10 minutes for me. I mostly get the milk tea with brown sugar pearls and sea salt crema, which is really good. In terms of flavour, I feel like it’s a huge upgrade from a basic milk tea with pearls, since there’s hints of caramel and salt. However, I decided to try something new and got the matcha latte, and it was EXTREMELY bitter. It was astringent and made my mouth feel dry, and it felt really powdery. I just read another review that said their matcha drinks were watery to dilute the bitterness, so I guess they forgot to dilute mine…? Either way, I’ll be staying away from their matcha flavoured drinks from now on.

It’s my favorite bubbletea store! Offers a variety of tasty and delicious flavors, hazelnut milk tea is one of my favorites. I always have a pleasant experience at this specific location because of the staff (I wish i asked for his name. if I do in the future, I’ll edit my review and mention him). He’s very friendly and always brings up new suggestions for us to try. Love the place and drinks, and their amazing service.
