Uncle Fatih's Pizza is one of the best pizza experiences I've had in Vancouver. When comparing price and taste, it's honestly way better than other chain pizza places. We ordered a medium Meat Lovers and a medium Eggplant Artichoke, and enjoyed both of them. The chipotle dip was a nice addition, though it's not very spicy. The pizza itself is juicy and full of flavors.
If you were to compare it to an authentic Italian restaurant in Downtown, I can't say for sure how it would hold up—I haven't tried that yet. But this place serves great pizzas with good quality. As long as the quality stays consistent, it will always be one of my favorite pizza places.
[Update, July 1, 2024] We ordered an extra-large half-and-half pizza. One half was Sweet & Spicy Lovers, and the other was Eggplant Artichoke. We enjoyed both. The Sweet & Spicy Lovers pizza has pineapple slices, so if you enjoy the sweetness of pineapple on your pizza, it could be really nice. The spiciness comes from banana peppers, which are quite intense—I’d rate the spicy level 9/10 and usually avoid the banana peppers with the last pieces. The meat on the pizza was very nice, though.
[Update April, 2025] I have tried the wings, ordered the sweet chilli ones. It wasn’t really and you can taste the chicken. The sweet chilli sauce is helping a bit but the chicken taste is too much. Pizzas are...
Read moreWent in as they were closing (which nobody likes I know! 🙈) but we had no where else that was opened so we gave it a shot!
The last 8-10 slices all assorted and they charged full price for everything. Almost $36 after tip for end of the night pizza was a little crazy IMO. However they did their best to give us a deal anyways, so we left a tip as much as we could.
The pizza was tasty, I would personally recommend the ham and pineapple! The others were great too but not as traditional in taste as they were a little more complicated in ingredients. Not a bad thing, I just like my pizza simple 🥰
Otherwise felt the food was very tasty and would return if they had better prices, maybe some Italian style/thinner/cheaper made slices could help things as a recommendation? I love my Italian traditional pizza style myself, but I know this place is more westernized and that's also okay.
Otherwise a good experience, just think end of the night slices are typically sold at a reduced rate. They did give us 8 slices and the 9th free, but I feel it could have been half off. Maybe I'm picky, idk 😆.
Overall good...
Read moreI heard so much about this place and I love pizza so I had to go check it out. Definitely way below expectations due to many reasons. The slice was a little on the colder side and they reheat every slice to order, the flavours were very bland which I didn’t expect seeing how much was on the pizza (I wish I tried a regular cheese pizza) and the atmosphere was definitely like a university spot where people look at you funny while you’re eating. I’m going to pass on recommending this place, I think just try other places in Vancouver
The thing I was most unhappy about was that they use the same tongs to grip onto the pepperoni and pork products as the vegetarian slices. I only eat halal, but even a vegetarian wouldn’t be happy with that. Please use separate tongs for this stuff.
5/10 - average. Get it if you’re really hungry and want a slice of pizza on the way but...
