I’m from the U.S. originally so I’m no stranger to Chipotle and have been to several other locations in Vancouver, but this one is by far the worst. I’ve been here a couple times now with friends and the service staff are completely indifferent/unfriendly, the place seems disorganized, and it does not feel remotely comparable to any other Chipotle location I’ve been to. The portion sizes are not consistent from visit to visit and it seems as though the staff have taken some creative liberties as to how portioning and presentation should look. Every time my friends and I have visited this location, we have had to ask for more lettuce. They sprinkle it in the corner like it’s a garnish (picture attached was after asking for more). With the other toppings (corn, cheese) as well, they sprinkle minuscule portions with their fingers instead of using a standardized measuring device. I’ve only been during lunch rush, but I feel they start heavily skimping so that they have to do less prep or worry about changing containers mid rush. They do not follow “fifo” procedures (first-in, first out) and my friend and I (who both have experience in the food service industry) watched them on multiple occasions just dump new prep on top of older prepped toppings instead of switching containers. It’s about half the portion of food you’d get at any other Chipotle, which is a shame since you’re paying the same $17-$20 price tag. Seeing more experienced individuals in food service or service management at this location would be nice, in place of the youthful and evidently lacking in training/experienced staff at present. My friends and I have been here 3-4 times now but I don’t think we will continue as it stands. Hopefully changes are made so it’s more like every other Chipotle out there!

I usually get takeout, and my favorite is quesadillas. This is one of my favorite chain restaurants and also one of my favorite Mexican spots. I’m not sure about the low rating, but I’ve always had a great experience ordering from here. When they first opened, it was so busy that no one could handle the crowd, but now everything seems to be running smoothly. The staff is very hardworking and nice, and of course, the food is delicious. I’ve never waited more than 20 minutes for my online order to be ready and always order through the mobile app. As a meat lover, I always go for steak or beef barbacoa. The sour cream, pinto beans, and roasted chili-corn salsa are my favorites. I also like their packaging and pricing.

I am so curious about chipotle cuz I actually hearing a lot of things about it. I visited my cousin in UBC and while waiting for him I stroll around to find something to eat and saw Chipotle. Everything is so smooth. Service quality✅ Friendly people✅ Food is delicious✅ Their guacamole is superb! Highly recommended! Everyone's smiling and guiding me since it's my first time to do it esp the girl with the short hair and glasses. Overall, I am impressed!

⚠️⚠️⚠️ Absolutely Do Not Recommend – Horrendous Experience! ⚠️⚠️⚠️ I usually don’t write bad reviews, but this experience at Chipotle was so ridiculous I can’t keep quiet.

I ordered for pickup from home and got to the store about 8 minutes later. One of the staff looked totally lost and said he couldn’t find my order. After digging around, he finally found it and went to start making it — whatever, I waited.

About 12–13 minutes later, I asked if it was ready, and the cashier goes, “Oh, someone already took it.” WHAT?? I hadn’t even given anyone my name or order number. How is that even possible? Who just walks in and magically guesses my pickup info?

She checked my details again, then just… disappeared. No update. No apology. Nothing. I stood there waiting, assuming they were remaking it. They weren’t. They literally thought, “Well, it’s gone, guess that’s it,” and moved on like it wasn’t their screw-up.

Let’s be real: they handed my food to some random person without verifying anything, then acted like it wasn’t a big deal. No one cared, no one took responsibility, and no one fixed it — until I got visibly annoyed and demanded they remake it.

At that point, I’d been standing there for 30 minutes. For a pickup order. Honestly, people dining in were getting their food faster than I did.

👎 Completely disorganized, staff don’t communicate, and nobody seems to care. And upset stomach after I finished the food (yup, that...
