This is one of the few restaurants in Edmonton that specializes in South East Asian cuisine in a budget. I’m a frequent customer of this restaurant and my go to order typically consists of the Combo Box, the Penang Laksa, or the Bangkok Pad Thai. This restaurant is very accommodating with my orders and is always willing to substitute one type of noodles for another type of noodles or to replace it with rice, and they have even substituted meat ingredients for me as well. The service is quick and friendly.

Definitely a good place for a quick bite. Each dish can feed two medium appetites and you can request that they split the dish. This is probably the best bang for your buck, this way. It was a bit weird that they had a church service playing on their large screen tv (that might not translate well to customers). I'm not ruling out that maybe someone accidentally changed the channel or didn't notice the last program finished, but I caution the staff to be aware of this.

Always the best noodle house in town. I very much enjoy the vegan options. While I.am enjoying my FANTASTIC Vegan Kung Pau with extra veggies my faithful friend had a wonderful opportunity to pose for a few professional photographers.

I chose to stop here to grab a quick lunch to go. Clearly marked on the door was a promo at this specific location for 10% on the day I was there (I can't remember if it was a Tuesday or a Wednesday now). I thought, "Sweet! Good day to come." I waited a bit to order my food as the customer before me was returning a meal that he had ordered a few minutes previous. Apparently they had not made it correctly as he had specified a certain dish. There was a bit of argument back and forth before they made a new one, but they did eventually replace it. I shrugged it off as a miscommunication and ordered my meal. I asked about the discount, but they would not give it to me. I thought maybe I had read it wrong and didn't push it. The cashier had a lot of trouble understanding me, and I had to repeat myself several times even though I was just getting fried rice. I waited for my meal and noted it was quite untidy in the food prep area. There were also boxes of product stored in the dining area that were slightly in the way as you walked in the door.

Once I got my food, I made the mistake of waiting until I got home to open it up. It was not anything like the fried rice I had gotten from there before and was very bland and disappointing. I also double checked the poster/promo on the door on my way out, and I definitely hadn't misread it. There weren't any conditions on it, either (student, senior, etc.) I don't think I will be returning to...

Ate here maybe 15 years ago and hated it, but thought with all the good reviews to give it an another shot. Anyone who rates this place 5 star needs to get their taste buds checked by a medical professional. Seriously. Ordered for work because of a Buy One Get One Promotion with Uber eats. Of the two noodle dishes with mild spice, one was extremely spicy and the other had no spice except everyone’s favourite spice, burned noodle. The deep fried wontons were charbroiled fried to a dark brown and so hard they were inedible. Call me crazy, but I like my teeth not chipped. The Green Onion cakes were the only thing that we could eat, everything else went in the trash. This was the worst takeout meal I have ever had. I need to go gargle a bottle of mouthwash, after I chew an entire...

I'm super disappointed 😞!

This used to be my favorite place for a quick Pad Thai. Today not only did I get basically a box of warm noodles with barely any veggies that I had to point out to the cook but the tofu was tasting bad (not only to me but to my friend who tried it as well). After discreetly writing it on a note and passing it to the cook (in order to be respectful to other customers and not spoil their experience), the cook just shook their head and never acknowledged it. Finally I decided to speak to the cook and she told me to wait for the cook who made my food to come from his break to address the issue.

For the quality of food that I was served today a different customer would've called Public Health Inspection!

Total disappointment and don't plan to go...
