I’ve been here a few times before they renovated it. Loved the BBQ - it was a bit disappointing to hear that they don’t serve Korean bbq style now. I was excited to see the new menu so we tried the shrimp kimbab, bulgogi, spicy squid and soy chicken. I noticed right away that the portions were very small compared to other Korean restaurants but the food looked delicious. Overall, everything, except the soy chicken, tasted alright. I wouldn’t say authentic though. The breaded soy chicken had barely any chicken and it was way too hard to even chew. I wouldn’t recommend this and it costs about $19/plate. Compared to other Korean restaurants in Halifax this one is well overpriced for the portion they serve. Read moreIf you're in Halifax and craving authentic Korean flavors, Bi One Korean BBQ is a must-visit. this cozy spot offers a variety of dishes that capture the essence of Korean cuisine. I had spicy Korean chicken wings, Teriyaki chicken fried rice and chicken dumplings.
The wings are crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, making each bite a delightful experience.
The fried rice is flavorful and slightly sticky, with tender pieces of chicken glazed in a savory-sweet teriyaki sauce. It's a comforting dish that pairs perfectly with the heat of the wings. Whether you choose the pork, kimchi, or veggie variety, each dumpling is filled with a savory mixture and wrapped in a delicate, crispy shell.
it's a great spot to satisfy your Korean food cravings. Whether you're a fan of spicy wings, savory fried rice, or delicious dumplings, Bi One has something to please...

We had the kalbi, the rice cake with cheese, bulgogi, bibimbap, seafood pancake and everything was very good. The only thing was the rice cakes portion was surprisingly small. Not sure what happened but the flavor was awesome. Only three small amount of side dish which was a bit surprising for us since we were at a BBQ place.
Service was good as well. And they have a good variety of alcohol here , including Korean liquor. Price was decent.
Overall, a good spot. Definitely come if...
