The Holiday Afternoon Tea experience was really nice! The scones were baked to perfection. With clotted cream amd raspberry jam, the scones just melted in our mouths. The little cake peices tasted good too. I liked the cucumber sandwich more than the orange pepper ones. I picked the rose tea which paired really well with everything. I wasn’t a big fan of the truffle and gingerbread cookies. The service was really nice and friendly too. I liked that we had a big selection of teas to choose from.

I had no idea what to expect when I popped into this little tea shop/market on Gottingen, but it has SO much to look at and enjoy! The owner of the shop is very knowledgable and friendly, and more than happy to give recommendations, if you're not sure which tea you would like to try. There are small rooms with vintage house goods, clothing, records and more! If you like tea& tea supplies, vintage shopping, art, or music, Eastern Tea is absolutely worth a visit!

Absolutely the best tea bar in town. The host knows his stuff !! The tea is all local and handpicked they have tea plants in the window while you're drinking. They offer a delicious selection of homemade biscuits and they are to die for hot our of the oven. The entire place is homey and full of treasures to explore. Absolutely one of my favorite places in all of Nova Scotia not just Halifax. Please take the time and stop by you will thank yourself later
