Happy Veal Hot Pot — Restaurant in Halifax

Came here for my first meal in Halifax. Had the boiled lamb dumplings and stir fried noodle with pork, seafood, and egg. Dumpling filling was so amazing and flavorful and the noodles were made fresh in house.

Liked the lunch menu so much I came back again to try the hotpot. I usually make my own hotpot at home, but this was by far the BEST hotpot I've ever had. Ordered the wide noodle, beef slices, mixed seafood ball, and bok choy in the original broth. Was a lot of food for two people and the beef was so thinly sliced and lean. Again, the noodles seemed to be make fresh in house. Wide noodle is the best noodle I've eaten in over 20 years of eating noodles.

Restaurant is quiet and the staff are very friendly. I look forward to eating here many...

Updated Review: Reduced star down to 1 since this restaurant has no parking spot and provide no info for facilitate customer like me to park. And i got $115 ticket from their building on top of my 15% tip to their foods and service. Extremely bad experience. Will never come to pay any cent to this business.

I would give 3 stars for hotpot since i still cannot find the right dipping sauce. We had tried peanut sauce but it was too bland. However, because of their pan fried dumpling was so good. There a plenty of ground pork inside and it is only $10. So i have to add 1 more star for them. It seem that their a la carte menu will be much better to try. It looks so good by observing from the other...

I stumbled upon this place while visiting a friend in the hospital across the road. I LOVE the food! We are from New Brunswick but every time we go down to visit out friend we also take time to visit this restaurant.

The Pork Burgers are a must try and they are cheap! We love the noodles dishes and the soups are delicious as well. I accidentally ordered seafood rice, I meant to order seafood noodles. I was disappointing when I saw it but we gave it a shot and man it was delicious as well.

We haven't quite tried everything on the menu yet but we are working on it and have yet to be...
