Right now here at Adda indian eatery. Tried mysoee masala dosa, chole bhature, idly sambhar and chicken biryani. Everything was disappointing and disgusting. Came here a year ago and gave them 5 star review. But now the taste has degraded exponentially. The sambhar was cold too but we let it go and not at spicy then i went again said please make the other dish a bit spicy. I asked them numerous times to please make it a bit spicy. Leave the spicy and taking this in consideration the chole was sweet. And had to return it.The service was bad too while i was sharing my review to the person who was serving and cooking, he was literally smiling on my face. Didn’t had the curtesy to even say sorry once. Very very disappointing. Specially came here because of my previous experience but oh my god this was the worst experience. Because of this horrendous experience i don’t have the courage to even try Faluda for which i specially came here, it was good too last time but who knows now. Its easy to give good service once and make name but its hard to maintain the quality and good service.
I didn’t use any bad language, i just said that its sweet n stuff and no we didn’t get another dish. And they just returned the money for cholle bhature. And i was having a really good day before Adda experience so don’t blame it on me. We were on vacation and Adda was our first on me and my friend recommendation as i have been there before and i...
Read moreThe word Adda means a place to gather: a hangout spot. There were many people there at the same time as us, but it was still calm and easy to carry on a conversation without raising our voices. We enjoyed the atmosphere, the upbeat Indian music, and the friendly staff. We lingered to chat long after we were finished eating while I had a delicious Chai tea.
My friend had the Spicy Chicken Vindaloo bowl, and I had the Chana Masala bowl. We really enjoyed the flavour explosion of each dish and their very different tastes. There is a lot of rice under the curry, but for me, it was the perfect amount to balance out the flavour and spice of the curry. The portion was so large, that I took home enough for another meal.
Keep in mind that Adda operates in a food court in the Spring Garden Place mall (which is nicer than most mall food courts, by the way), and he opened with the intention to offer Indian street food at a reasonable price. With this in mind, we enjoy the the taste, the value and the atmosphere he has created for his customers. We will return regularly and bring our...
Read moreI recently visited and had an incredibly disappointing experience. From the moment we walked in, the service was subpar.
The staff were unwelcoming and exhibited poor behavior throughout our visit. Not only did they take a long time to take our order, but they were also very rude when we asked for recommendations. It felt as though our presence was an inconvenience to them.
To make matters worse, the food took an unreasonable amount of time to arrive, and when it finally did, it was cold and poorly prepared. When we brought this to the staff's attention, they were dismissive and did not offer any apologies or solutions.
Overall, the lack of professionalism and courtesy from the staff was shocking. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone and will certainly not be returning.
Save yourself the trouble and find another...
