Title: "Brunch Bliss at Bistro by Liz!"
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5)
I recently had the pleasure of indulging in a brunch experience at Bistro by Liz, and it was an absolute delight from start to finish. While the entire meal was exceptional, there was one standout that stole my heart – the potato skin side dish!
From the moment I walked into Bistro by Liz, I was captivated by its inviting and stylish ambiance. The restaurant created the perfect setting for a leisurely brunch, and the friendly and attentive staff immediately made us feel at home, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining adventure.
Bistro by Liz boasts a menu that reflects Liz's culinary prowess and her dedication to sourcing the freshest, finest ingredients. Every dish we sampled was a work of art, but the potato skin side dish was truly the star of the show. These potato skins were a brunch dream come true – perfectly crisp, golden shells packed with flavor. They were generously garnished with a tantalizing combination of cheese, bacon, and chives, creating a harmonious symphony of tastes and textures. It was a potato lover's paradise on a plate!
Not only were the potato skins delicious, but they were also visually stunning. Liz's meticulous attention to both flavor and presentation sets her apart as a chef who cares deeply about her craft. It's evident that every plate that leaves her kitchen is a labor of love.
But the excellence didn't stop at the potato skins. The rest of our brunch experience was equally outstanding. We relished a diverse array of dishes, each masterfully prepared and bursting with flavor. The brunch cocktails were creative and refreshing, adding to the overall enjoyment of the meal.
The service at Bistro by Liz was impeccable throughout our visit. The staff was well-versed in the brunch menu and provided excellent recommendations. They ensured our glasses were always filled and that our brunch experience was nothing short of extraordinary.
Beyond the food and service, the restaurant's ambiance struck the perfect balance between upscale and relaxed, making it an ideal destination for a leisurely brunch gathering.

Read moreI've been wanting to check this place out for at least a year and it exceeded all expectations I had! First thing is, I really love the decor. It is beautiful inside and adds to the charm and atmosphere of the restaurant. It is very cozy inside as well and seems pretty roomy and not at all crowded. The service was fantastic, Matthew was very polite and engaging and I could tell that all the staff enjoyed being there as there were all smiles from the people I saw! And the food... I really don't think words can do justice to how delicious the food was. I had a chicken strip appetizer with honey and cashews which was perfectly tender and delicious, an amazing tomato basil soup, the special which was halibut served with rice and vegetables and the best butter I've ever tasted. It had rosemary, lemon, walnut (all of which I tasted) and somehow stood on its own without taking away from the fish flavor. Truly blew me away! I topped it off with a perfect NY-style cheesecake with an incredible berry and lemon sauce. This is a restaurant that I can't wait to come back to and one that has my highest recommendation! Zero...
Read moreI dined here for the first time last night. I was really looking forward to it as I've heard nothing but great things about the food. I was extremely disappointed. I ordered the Poulet Masala. It was a tiny chicken leg (very dry) served on lumpy "mashed" potatoes with a little bit of burnt black stuff (it certainly wasn't a mushroom sauce of any kind) on the edge of the chicken. The vegetables were two small pieces of asparagus and two little carrots. Had I not been going to the theatre afterwards I would have sent it back, but I didn't have the time to wait for something else. They were very busy so I know it would have taken a bit of time to get another dish.
My companion is there a few times a week and it's why we chose this restaurant. He's always enjoyed his dinner there (although he's never ordered the Poulet Masala) and his pasta dish was very good. I'm not one to take photos of my food or I would have included one.
On the plus side, our server...
