The location in downtown Halifax is great. Parking however, is a bit of a nightmare as with all restaurants downtown. The atmosphere of the restaurant was fine. We arrived at 5:15 PM and left at 6:45 PM and not a single additional customer came in. And that was a Friday evening! The service was fine, everything re: the atmosphere was good. Except, the food is really not great. I am not a picky person at all. The cauliflower bites were cold. And they’re just deep-fried cauliflower. Very, very disappointing. The crab and lobster dip was really pretty awful. And one of us had the salmon. The garlic mashed potatoes was cold. It wasn’t all bad, the fish tacos were not too bad. But when you get food at a restaurant charging the price as they do, your food should not be cold. Never! We should’ve sent it back. But we’re just not the sort of people...

Well I will start out with the good, the Seafood chowder was excellent, great flavor and inspiring flavour. We would ordering again in a heart beat. The fish and chips were average at best but I would not recommend them as it should be a key note to any east coast restaurant. We ordered beverages which were slow to come but not totally unreasonable but quite slow for how empty the restaurant was. I ordered a second drink just as food arrived, unfortunately I was completely finished dinner before the beverage finally arrived, i was certainly not impressed so we sent it back as it was not inline with our expectation. Not sure if I would return to this restaurant especially with the expectations that they are trying to allude from...

The breakfast at the Cannery was a pleasant surprise. Serena was our server and she was just perfect at her job as she seemed to anticipate our needs and wants. Right to the end of our breakfast she was there for us and we shared a few chuckles along the way. It is the warmth of the staff that I will remember more than the food however the food was perfection as well. Both my daughter and I have celiac disease and the kitchen accommodated our needs and the food was better than I make at home. Our breakfast was prepaid and the Manager quickly corrected the bill for us. We will miss the care, food and service when we go back home. Thank you for a lovely...

Cute, cozy restaurant located in the hollis hilton a double tree hotel, right downtown halifax with harbor view. Service was excellent, very patient with my 5 year old son. Portion for kids was great for the price $11 for chicken strips, fries, chocolate milk and ice-cream. However the burger was ok the expensive side - $24 for a good size burger and a small amount of fries. Yes the burger was good, however just a bit expensive for what you get. Very small menu also only 2 different burgers, a salad and fish and chips, each dish being more tha $24. The location is however convenient, after getting into the hotel at 4:45pm with a hungry kiddo.

Just WOW. Literally the BEST eggs Benedict I've ever had. Ever. And i love eggs benny. They make their English muffins in house - I wish I could buy a bag of them. Excellent homemade hollandaise, fresh herbs on the eggs, great grated potatoes with green onions on top, and an arugula salad on the plate. Unbelievably good. I've never been so happy with a breakfast before. I would give the staff 10 stars if I could. Overly friendly but sincere about it. They just opened this location a few weeks ago, attached to the Hollis Halifax Hilton. If I was staying here for longer I would eat all my meals here. 10/10 I highly recommend!

I was staying at the hotel for the past weekend, and had multiple breakfast in this amazing restaurant. This is absolutely the most incredible breakfast/brunch I’ve ever had. The Benedict is so tasty whether with meat or salmon. And the Shakshouka Eggs is far beyond my expectations. The must try is gonna be the coffee in the restaurant, dark roasted, I don’t even wanna grab a coffee anywhere else. The staffs, waiters and waitresses here are so friendly and welcoming. They have so much energy for this newly opened restaurant. I’d say you have to give it a try if you pass by the town.
