A perspective from a local, who has spent a TON of time on the harbour over the years - one of the most beautiful in the world. I'm male, 49, average fitness, a thrill-seeker but loosing a wee bit of nerve as I age (!), and I've only done this a couple times before (and years ago). This is a great company with a young and vibrant vibe, and all the staff from the owners to the guides clearly love what they do and love being out on the water, which really translates to a fun, intimate, engaging experience.

We were a couple one Seadoo, the other member of our tour was quite experienced and riding solo, and our guide Emma was brilliant at making sure he could let 'er rip while we found our sea-legs and got up to speed. If you have a sense of adventure, this is by FAR the most fun way to see the sights. Flying under the bridges and past the iconic islands at 60+ is one of the best things I've done since moving here 15 years ago. The tour covered a lot of water, allowing for plenty of time in the Bedford Basin for speed and donuts, long stretches for speed out to George's and McNab's Island, and a lovely slow cruise down the NW Arm to peek at the mega-homes. It seems like it can be pretty adaptable to skill level. It's a BUSY harbour, and I can only imagine how hard it must be for the guides to work with different skill levels and all that boat traffic! We had a BRILLIANT time, and Emma was great - keeping check, allowing us space, adding lots of commentary - and best of all, taking and sharing with us LOADS of pictures and videos. Very, VERY highly recommend this to tourists and locals a like, and we will for sure be renting from this...

Went for the sunset kayak, was rather disappointing. We moved at such a slow pace as some of the group were struggling to maneuver or get the hang of it. I would definitely not say it was a hard or vigorous paddle, so don't sign up if you are looking for any type of workout. It took 30 minutes to even get out in the harbour when we were required to be there 30 mins early, I assume to get people set up and sorted, so this was on top of that, so that ate up a lot of time. We were supposed to travel as a group, but were very spread out as some were lagging so wasn't much of a guided tour. There was also a lot of traffic in the harbour as it was a busy Saturday night, we got soaked from the waist down (sitting in pools of water for half of the trip) caused from the wake of some of the boats speeding by. This really wrecked the rest of our evening and caused cancelled dinner plans - so definitely bring a change of clothes! Our tour guide was great, that is the only reason for 3 stars, otherwise it would have been lower. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth and...

Simply an amazing experience! A unique way to see the vast scope of the city. Being able to tour around McNab's & George's Islands and then make your way into the Bedford basin was incredibly fun. The Seadoos are new, in great shape and well sanitized by the staff to combat these COVID times we now live in.

The staff themselves are top notch and truly care about making your experience one to remember! They take the time to ensure you are comfortable on the machines, regardless your experience level, they provided tips on the best spots to visit while touring through the harbour and their friendly disposition and superior customer service are the reason that we will most certainly be back to take advantage of their services again!

Cannot understate what a fantastic time this was and what an amazing group of people Habour Watercraft Tours & Adventures are! And if you can get Ma Nature to cooperate like we did and get a scorcher of a day with a breathtaking sunset the experience will be that much more enhanced! Go see these folks you...

Came here as a group of three for the sunset tour. We were hoping to snag one double and a single, but the singles were already rented out and only doubles remained. Thankfully another couple (our heroes), who had singles, volunteered to double up, which freed up a single for our friend to use. (Major props here to the Tour attendant who helped facilitate the kayak swap! Five stars just for this alone!) The tour itself was awesome. The weather wasn’t super accommodating, but our guide, Jenna, did an excellent job shepherding us around the bay and boat activity. It was also great hearing from her about some of the local history and the nature/environment around the bay. Super fun activity with a great group. Loved paddling around chatting about Halifax, McDonald’s in airports, and the latest LuLuLemon yoga pant deals.

You have to see the harbour by kayak. So wife and I signed up - was a bit of chop in the water but all good - went on sunset tour. Our guide was chill, went around George's island - also went all the way over to see the military ships but must have got too close as a military guy in fast ship came out and scared the popsicle out of us with his bullhorn. Sweet mother of Murphy we're just civilian tourists from Burlington, man! Anyways. Went back to finish out the tour - got out and didn't realize my whole derriere and legs/feet were soaked (should have asked for a kayak skirt). Went to outdoor wharf bar and warmed up by a fire pit - so much better. Great day, thanks Halifax.
