The Halifax Harbour Hopper tour is a bit disappointing...the tour costs about $50 for an hour long ride...but the tour really only goes around the Citadel, then up and down a couple of streets before plunging into the harbour. A few more minutes in the water and then back up and down the same couple of streets before your ride ends. The driver/captain was quite skilled, not easy driving the large amphibious vehicle. The tour commentator was quite lame, his jokes were terrible, and he seemed to know just basic facts about the city, limited in his knowledge. I think it would be more beneficial to do a self guided walking tour, (like the GPSMyCity App) and then take a trip on the Halifax ferry for $3.00...you will have saved about $47.00, learned a lot more about the city and still had a ride in a boat across the harbour!
