I came here on Friday evening just to spend some good time alone. After getting my order, I sat down and started having my meal while enjoying reading. The staff was so loud so I requested the supervisor to please tell her staff to be less noisy. It was evening time and the whole staff was talking loudly, having personal conversations at work place. The supervisor was so disrespectful and said nobody have any problem so what’s wrong? I was a customer right in front of her who had trouble with such loud personal conversations. But the supervisor did not even bother to ask her crew members to be professional and stop speaking so loudly. I said no more and went back to my seat. And right after the crew member started talking behind my back how I should go to library to read a book. It was not about reading, it was just about why a customer is getting to hear staff’s personal conversations. The conversations were not at all related to work. I came back two times to have a word with the manager. But everytime I came may it be lunch time or dinner time, no manager was there or maybe the staff was just not wanting me to talk to their manager. Nobody even tried to tell the manager know what happened during his/ her absence and how a customer was being treated by their supervisor. The food was alright but I feel like customer service is lot more than just giving decent quality food. The staff at this location is not at all professional. They don’t have good work ethics. And the supervisor doesn’t know how to stop escalating an issue. If she would have stopped her staff to misbehave at work place. I would not have written such a long paragraph explaining my situation. I hope now the manager or higher authority sees a...
Read moreThe store was very busy with the majority of staff working to support the drive thru. It makes sense as there was a lot of traffic at the time. Other counter staff were doing their best to clear the lineup inside. I stopped to get the much advertised Baileys latte and Boston Cream donut. The making of the lattes was a multi-step process that occupied a few minutes of the employee's time to prepare them. It all seemed a bit frantic. In my mind, I could not help but wonder if the Tim Hortons corporation consulted with the front line employees or even considered the impact on production / service. It all seemed a bit chaotic as opposed to being an orderly process at a peak time. At least two drinks were spilled while I was there. One on the floor, one on the counter. This creates safety issues for the employees (slip and fall). It also cuts into overall productivity, efficiency, and profitability. That said, I have rarely seen a Tim Hortons that was not busy, and they do staff for peak times. As for the Baileys latte and the donut, we were underwhelmed. Perhaps it was the advertisement that made me think it would taste like a Baileys and coffee I have made at home. It did not. The Boston Cream just tasted like it usually does. I had bought the Baileys latte and donut for two others. They also agreed that the Baileys items were nothing out of the ordinary. Only the corporate folks will know for sure if the Baileys specialty items were profitable compared to any of their other specialty items. Perhaps a kudo to their marketing department, however, it was at the cost of the employees having to learn a new, multi-step process that consumed time that could otherwise have been used to serve their...
Read moreYesterday, April 5th, 2024, at 5:40 p.m., I visited the drive-thru at this Tim Hortons location and politely asked about one of their products. Unfortunately, the response from a staff member, an Indian lady, was incredibly disrespectful. She insisted I should come inside if I wasn't sure about the products, instead of helping me out. Even after explaining that I was craving a specific item, her attitude remained rude and unhelpful. When I mentioned I was pregnant and looking for alternatives, she became even more hostile, raising her voice. Surprisingly, when I asked to speak with the supervisor, she claimed to be the supervisor herself and even provided me with a fake name when asked. It's unacceptable for someone in a supervisory position to treat customers, especially a pregnant woman, in such a manner. Despite my attempts to de-escalate the situation, she continued to be confrontational, insisting I leave my car. This was a completely unexpected and unpleasant experience for me, and I have no plans to return to this location. I feel uncomfortable even sharing this review because of the lady's anger, aggressiveness, and overall negative demeanour. I'd rather visit the Tim Hortons inside the neighbouring gas station, where I've never encountered such...
