The pizza was tasty. But customer service was horrible so I'll let that be first. Never should it take 2 hours to make a pizza in any circumstance straight from the menu that isn't some specially requested thing. It's pizza. I wouldn't go to a restaurant or anything that served food if 2 hours was normal. I get it could be busy and a wait normal than usual but I've never had to wait 2 hours for a pizza before in my life. I payed 40 after paying 6 dollars for extra cheese. I payed 6 dollars for extra cheese and there was no extra cheese, unless 6 dollars of extra cheese is a slight sprinkle of it. For 6 dollars I'd expect a bit more cheese to a thin pizza where it seemed like a I payed 6 dollars for less cheese. 33 dollars plus 6 dollars for "extra" cheese and a 2 hour wait is sad and should be embarrisng for a large pizza. For any food establishment. Absolutely dissatisfied other than yes it did taste well. But it sure wasn't worth 40 dollars, a 2 hour wait, and no extra cheese that I payed my hard earned dollar with cranky staff for. I could've taken my 40 dollars and had a meal in a proper restaurant and be served with dignity and respect; and I certainly wouldn't wait 2 hours for my meal. I'll never purchase...
Read moreWe were visiting Halifax and staying in the area. Being a huge fan of pizza, I was so excited to find this place and got myself a pizza while my husband had Thai.
It was one of the best pizzas I've had in a while. The custom picked ingredients tasted fresh and my made to order pizza didn't disappoint.
The crust was light yet perfectly satisfying and the tomato sauce tasty.
The next day we went back for a slice which was more than generous and value for the money.
The owner was proud to say they had just opened and you could tell he was happy in his job.
The last time we were in Halifax we were recommended two of the more well known places. One of them was pretentious and the other pizza didn't taste nearly as good as the Pizzatown pizza.
As soon as we move to Halifax, we'll make this place our go-to for pizza...

Pizzas came and the balance was thrown off, veggies weren’t cooked enough, pizza was soggy, and there was too much meat on the works. I called and told them that I rave about their pizza, and I thought they needed to hear when it was a little off. They instantly gave me two free pizzas for the next time I ordered. I used those freebies a month later. I had the manager make my pizzas and deliver it to my house. Now that’s how you run a business. Thanks pizzatown, you have a...
