Tasty Grill - Authentic Pakistani and Indian Cuisine — Restaurant in Hamilton

Sir/ma'am. There were multiple reasons for giving 1star to your business (Tasty-Grill). I will try to sum up below. Yesterday (22nd October 2023), i ordered food from Tasty-Grill over uber-eats around 9:30pm, which included samosa-Poutine, halwa-poori, vegetable kebab and dahi-Bhalle. Food was unfit/stale and horrible in taste. Starting with vegetable kebab. Kebabs are usually grilled and not fried, and that too was done in over reused oil with under-temperature heat. Frying in under-heated oil will make kebabs soak oil, exactly how it tasted. Rating: 3/10 Halwa-poori: poori were under-cooked, and the chana recipe was so bad. Not even close to actual Lahori-chane. Rating: 3.5/10 Dahi-Bhalle: All i could taste was boondi and onions. The texture in tamarind sauce/mint sauce required to complete the taste was totally incomplete. Also, the Dahi wasn't hung enough to separate water(whey) or it wasn't prepared in correct temperature, causing the dahi bhalle loose water/moisture all over. Rating: 3/10 Samosa-Poutine: it was okay. But very average in taste. I would rather choose other restaurants for better taste until Tasty-Grill improves its food taste and quality. Rating: 6/10.

I assume that this order wasn't prepared well as the order was placed 20mins prior to closing over uber-eats. Also, halwa-poori belongs to the breakfast menu, making me believe that it wasn't freshly cooked, and that's why kebabs soaked oil as they were fried over under-heated oil.

Note: we are not those kind of customers who order food over uber-eats/doordash and do negative ratings for a refund, yet keep the food. The food that we ordered from Tasty-Grill still lies in the garbage box (untouched) in my backyard, which can be sent back to the restaurant to understand the genuinety of this review. We would like to see Tasty-Grill improve in its food quality and taste by accepting their mistakes. We wish Tasty-Grill all the best in...

I had a Chapli Kebab platter for takeout, I kid you not EVERYTHING from packing of food to taste and texture was EXCELLENT 👌 the Kebabs were so amazingly ground, the balance of spices, the rice, the naan bread not soggy at all and appropriately buttery, I would recommend this restaurant to everybody all day every day.

They packed the food so professionally considering if it's opened after a long time the rest of the ingredients don't get soggy with the steam of fresh hot delicious food.

I was hesitant because of some reviews but I still went ahead and tried because there's new management running the place now, I've seen them work to their limits so if you ever have a complaint, just let the new owner know, trust me you won't have any complaints again.

My experience was so AWESOME I would go there as much as I can, that's why I'm trying to detail this review, you can only know how good they are after you try their food, don't consider the reviews, go there and try anything on the menu.
