I was very disappointed with the service I received today at your upper Wellington location, the one across from Limeridge mall in the plaza with the Dollarama. I have been a Tim Hortons customer my entire life, and never have I received the appalling service I received today. I was at this location twice today. This is not unusual for me as I work very closely to this location and often I liked to go there before work and during my shift to buy hot chocolate for my coworkers. I went in today and one of the employees refused to serve me, instead going into the kitchen part of the restaurant. I have no idea as to why this employee, Thirteen, did this, I posed no physical threat to her (being a 5ft, 130 pound 17 year old female) and made no comments to her both times I went. At first, I bought a Sugar Cookie hot chocolate and since I had 20 mins before my shift, sat down and began to read the paper. After I went back the second time, somewhere around 5:30, for the coffee run, the Supervisor, (as he identified himself) Lindane told me that I was not to look in the back kitchen as it was considered harassment against this employee. Lindane continued to berate me in front of a full restaurant, telling me that I was harassing this employee because I had come in numerous times that day. To be clear, I said nothing to this employee both times I was there. I was there merely on coisendence, up until this point I really enjoyed Tim Hortons. This employee if anything refused to provide me with any service and hid in the back while there was a line of people. I contacted a friend of mine who also works at this location and she put me in touch with the Assistant Manager, Lucy. Lucy had told her to give me her home phone number to voice my complaint. I have never voiced a complaint like that before, having worked customer service for five years, I found this method very untraditional but was more interested in rectifying the situation as I hope to still be able to eat there. She told me that the Supervisor was just "protecting his employee" and told me that Tim Hortons has many policies that vouch for the protection of their employees. This employee he was protecting is a lot older then me, and taller. I possessed no physical threat to her what so ever, I didn't even speak to her. I am complete appalled with how this was handled, and I hope this situation is rectified as soon as possible. This is not the Tim Hortons I grew up on and I am very...
Read moreI'm a regular costumer. I go there like once or twice every day and these new female staff were very rude to me today. And it's camp day for the kids. So this teenager over filled my drink and I asked her politely to please wipe the top because I don't want to spill it on my white top and she said well there's napkins right there. I found that comment very unprofessional because she's the one who over filled it and I just requested kindly for her to correct for error. Then it out of no where started hailing and pouring rain and then I wanted to sit down and all the tables were dirty and I waiting in line just to ask the other lady if she could please wipe them and she's like k when I get a minute. She gave me attitude and I felt disrespected. For just asking something so simple. The other girl did finally come and wipe the tables but I definitely feel like those two ladies could of handled their words much better and more appropriate. I was actually shocked with what they said to me. The regular staff are always so friendly and kind. I've never had this issue before. However negative criticism is the way for improvement. Thanks,
Sincerely a friendly regular costumer who hopes to see change in attitude on...
Read moreI normally like this Tim’s, go here almost daily. Today we ordered from the drive through and a man took our order teas tasted mostly like milk and were barely warm, upon coming back through the drive through almost 20-30 minutes later. A lady was now working and had said we didn’t come through? we were super nice considering the attitude she told us the drinks were freezing cold and that we didn’t get them at that location, in your employee policy it states “In all circumstances regarding problems with product, please involve a Manager or Supervisor immediately. They will offer the customer the same product free of charge. If you are ever in doubt you can assume that the customer is correct; never let a customer go away unhappy.” considering how ignorant she was and how so stuck on the fact we didn’t come through you think they would abide by the rules in policy. Completely unhappy, she promoted an unhappy work environment, and serving experience. Overall we got the...
