Dear Tim Hortons, I am writing to you today as a concerned customer who values sustainability and the environment. While I appreciate the products and services provided by Tim Hortons, I believe there is more that can be done to promote sustainable practices within your organization. One suggestion I have is to consider turning off lights and appliances that are not in use, especially in areas that are not frequently used. This simple change can help to reduce energy waste and lower your utility bills. Additionally, I would encourage Tim Hortons to explore ways to reduce plastic packaging and promote more sustainable alternatives, such as bamboo-based products. Bamboo is a highly sustainable material that can be used in a variety of products, and its growth helps to offset carbon emissions. Furthermore, I would like to see Tim Hortons take a more active role in promoting reforestation and the planting of trees to help offset the impact of climate change. This can be done through partnerships with organizations that promote sustainable forestry practices or by implementing tree-planting initiatives within your own organization. I understand that these changes may require some initial investment, but I believe that the long-term benefits of adopting sustainable practices far outweigh the costs. As a customer who values sustainability, I would be more inclined to support Tim Hortons if it took a leading role in promoting sustainable practices within the industry. Thank you for your consideration, and I hope that you will take these suggestions into account. I look forward to the opportunity to continue shopping at Tim Hortons and supporting your commitment to sustainability. Sincerely, Gabriel Update from owner reply: That link doesn't work and I don't want to call....
Read moreAbsolutely terrible here. If you're in a rush, especially in the morning, do not come here. Do yourself a favour and drive a minute up the hill to the full sized Tim Hortons. In the time we were in the store, 2 other separate people came in with wrong orders. There are a couple reviews from a year ago that say this place is fast, but obviously there were different employees then. The guy at the till was sarcastic and rude. We were trying to grab a quick bite to eat before hunting but ended up waiting 15 minutes for our order....which was wrong.
I ordered a decaf Orange pekoe because I can't handle caffeine and recieved an early grey. After I waited another 5 minutes to tell the guy he gave me the wrong drink, he says to me "oh, you're changing your order now?" I'm like "no, I didn't order this. I ordered decaf Orange pekoe." He looked at me like I was lying and didn't even say anything. He ended up making the drink....WRONG again! I had to leave though at this point. Not impressed at all. I also ordered a sausage farmers biscuit. Simple enough? Apparently not. They ended up making a regular sausage biscuit AND a sausages farmers wrap, which after waiting that long, we just took both. A hash brown was missed as well. I'm considering it as a donation for how long we waited and how many mistakes were made. With 4 people working, this shouldn't be the case. I'm not someone who complains about service but this...
Read moreI have been coming to this location for years. The other location near my house is known for taking half an hour to get your order and they mess it up. This location is horrible for timing and that they are always out of wedges. The workers are either very rude or rushing you. Today it took almost 25 minutes to get a sandwich and coffee and there was a bone in the parking lot next to me. An actual bone with blood still on it. I don’t know who manages this place but they are doing an awful job. The few times I’ve come into the store around 5am, the workers complain about their manager and the work environment as a whole. I have seen scoops be dropped on the ground, blown on and put back away. Ive never seen any hand washing, especially after dealing with cash, and I’ve seen the Caucasian men in the morning yell at customers and be very rude. I came in and ordered an ice cap with whip and a donut. He gave me the iced coffee, without whip and shut the window. So i stayed, he came back 10 minutes later with a horrible attitude and i told him I wanted my donut, I didn’t even mention the lack of whip cream. He all but THREW it at me and told me to have the day i deserve. I seriously recommend driving the extra quarter kilometre and getting your coffee from McDonalds. It’s not like its any worse than this Tims anymore. Shame on the manager/owners...
