Due to a stressful week my friend went out of their way to pick me up a giant box of Purdy’s Chocolates (I had been telling them about all week and debating whether to let myself indulge).
I was really wanting to try a couple of each of the only 3 white chocolate varieties purdys offers as well as one of each of the peanut/peanut butter chocolate varieties they carry and one of the seasonal eggnog truffles. My friend had taken the text messages I had sent regarding the chocolate flavours I was obsessing over to the purdys staff and they put together this massive custom box of chocolates! I felt horrible I didn’t intend for him to do this however he did and it was a beyond generous gift.
Unfortunately I guess the staff took a little creative license and added a couple varieties and went a little heavy handed on particular types to the box. To a normal person this would probably be lovely but being someone with high anxiety around budget and food I had a bit of a panic attack. I ended up going back in and speaking with the manager Sarah whom is very lovely and helpful. She heard me out and ever so kindly made me feel substantially better it was very kind of her to have such patience with me and go out of her way to make me feel better.
I just think it’s important to acknowledge exceptional customer particularly this time of year! So thank you Sarah I appreciate everything you did for me.
Also of note here are some pics of Purdy’s Chocolates I highly recommend the white silk, and the white chocolate peanut butter crunch Himalayan pyramid, I found the alcohol taste of the cameo to intense personally (sadly I had the most of these and maple blonde Helene’s, both of which I personally didn’t care for that much). I also tried the sea salt peanut butter and chocolate (this one was lovely, I had one of these it was a good find!) and the peanut butter daisy(good but not as good as the sea salt one I think the peanut butter needs the added salt kick) oh and the tiger square one ( again had an over abundance of these in the... and I found them not so great mostly just sweet sugary peanut butter hardly any...
