I recently visited the location near fairview. And I feel this has to be addressed as this is a growing issue at all the locations.
I noticed almost all the staffs are Indian and I am happy they are contributing to the economy. But they forget what is customer service, bringing big attitude etc.
I was served by this Indian staff and I ordered the Thursday special. There was no smile, no greet and just glazing at me with attitude. The quantity has reduced considerably and when I asked why is the fries so little- the staff states that's all that comes. The pieces were so small and I requested them to make fresh as i am willing to wait 20 min.
I was surprised as i waited 20 min, the moment she was getting the fresh chicken in the box . this lady kept looking at me to see if I am observing her or not. She observed I was looking down and took the opportunity to place the old pieces in the box.
I quickly went to her and said I waited 20min so that I get the fresh ones. She said "it's all the same". I politely smiled and requested please put fresh ones only. the attitude with which she removed 4 pieces out put fresh ones was like she owns these chickens.
Such a cheap attitude employee and disgrace to the indians. I pay for my chicken and I am not begging u. so make sure you follow instructions
My advise to the owners of popeyes. Hire indians, but please ensure you hire people with customer services background. Less attitude and ensure they are happy...
Read moreI went there first day they opened. I ordered 3 pieces of spicy chicken combo, with uping the fries. It was $19+. It was a bit kios with figuring things out. Most of the staffs were just flocking together, looking very timid. The Manager was there also. I was very happy that a popeyes was opened at that location, since it's very close to my house. The chicken looked overcooked, and the fries, were not cooked well. The fries were soft to the touch, not crispy, and the chicken was burnt. I could have noticed, since I buy popeyes every Thursdays. The best popeyes that I've gone to, is the one at University in Waterloo. It's a distance from my home, since I lives in kitchener, but I don't mind the drive, since the meals are done properly, and not overcooked etc. The main reason that i wouldn't be going back is because of the professionalism and hygiene. There was a Muslim girl who was wearing a Muslim Hijab (Black), kept wiping her face with her hands, and biting her nails. No customers wanted to see that. No customers wanted to see you put your finger(s) in your mouth, with no gloves on, and serving them. I was going to say something to the Manager, but I didn't. I just took my order, and just dumped it in the garage when I got home. No way I was going to eat that, when someone was putting their fingers in their mouth etc. People should be more conscious of what they are doing, since they work in the food industry. They need more training about...
Read moreWell we went in at 1030 and there was a pile of water on the floor we had to jump over it. And the cashier Sherya told us that there was nothing but chicken tends and they were gonna be putting anything else down. We were hungry we took it. We were waiting for our food and a line comes out of no where with different orders. She took the next person order not even a minute after we were done and let him order whatever he wanted. And then eight other people came in as well and she let them all order other things beside chicken tends. Now me and my wife are fuming. I asked for the number and the manager's name. Sherya goes in the back and takes off her name tag. I already seen it before she took it off. We come outside and we had a bit of the dried chicken tender and then the cook came from the back Kitchener and was very polite and asked us if we wanted him to put something else down. He new what the girl did wasrude. I thank this gentleman for coming forth. I think this girl should be given some time off to reevaluate the whole situation properly. Or just fire her. The chicken was great when...
