My wife and I were regular patrons at this restaurant but will no longer be going to dine here. The reason is actually quite simple. We went this morning for breakfast and were presented with menus. We chose the early bird specials at $5.95. When we were presented the bill, we noticed that we were charged $6.25 per breakfast. I politely and respectfully aproached the waitress and ask her about this discrepancy, which she responded that there are half of the menus that indicate the price at $5.95 and the other half of the menus indicate it at $6.25. She was completely unapologetic about it and rather than respect the price that I was given, she just concluded the transaction at the higher price. It has absolutely nothing to do with the difference in price but it is an indicator of how they view their clients. Very disappointing. Another situation that was disappointing was the lack of consideration of the client. As we were seated, the waitress poured the coffee in the cups that were on the table. I noticed that one of the cups was dirty. I pointed this to the waitress and rather than take a clean cup and fill it with fresh coffee, she takes another cup and transfers the coffee from the dirty cup into the clean cup. I could have done that myself. Incredible. I do understand that restaurants are there to make money but the reason clients go to restaurants is to enjoy a wonderful meal, weather breakfast, lunch or dinner. With the firece competition amongst restaurants, I find it inexcusable that they would permit themselves to treat clients with any degree...
Read moreService was aweful. We were no serviced for 20mins. When we flagged the waitress she didn’t even acknowledge us. I finally ordered an omelette with no onions because I’m allergic.
Once we got our meal, I had a hair in my omelette so she took it back, and didn’t even come to apologize or say they were making another plate. 20mins after that, I got another omlette, but with onions. So I sent it back and said I didn’t want to wait so ended up not eating.
The waitress didn’t check up on the other people at the table, we had to get up to ask her to pay. She comes over and says the other waitress was really happy because if I didn’t get a hair in my omlette, and then onions on the next one, she wouldn’t have been able to eat my omlette! I was shocked, again no apology for anything. I responded that I was not happy and the order should have been put in correctly and would not come back. She then took the receipt of the other person and threw it at her. No thank you..good bye or nothing.
Terrible waitress (she worked Saturday April 13 at around 11am) and the owners should really teach their staff how to manage these types of situations and frankly she should not be working there if she can not take orders correctly. If I had not noticed the onions I would have a huge allergic reaction that would have cause me to go to...
Read moreUPDATE (Dec 2022): I returned here after two years from my last visit and the experience was better! I arrived around 2 o'clock and was instantly seated. The food came out within 25 minutes and it was actually really good. The potatoes were hot and everything was great. Would definitely go again now.
Feb 2020: I ordered a hot chocolate upon first sitting down. Two were brought to the table; one by the hostess and another by our server, which to me shows a lack of communication between employees. It was not very good either. Then, it was about a 15 minute wait before our server took our orders. We felt forgotten by the staff, though it was pretty busy inside and just around noon. When the food arrived, having been to another L'Oeufrier location just the day before, I could tell that the potatoes at this location were under seasoned and the bacon was flavorless. After finishing our food, again, it was another long wait for the server to notice, and we even had to flag her down to get her attention. Overall, I would probably not go to this location again but I think the...
