Pappa Leo's Pizza — Restaurant in Maple Ridge

Absolute nightmare. First time ever trying this place and will not be trying ever again. Called and dealt with some unintelligent teenager who spoke to me like he was high as a kite. Told him my address 4 times and then he took my order. After painstakingly placing my order he told me he couldn’t delivery to me because we were too far (google maps told us it was 9 minutes away - exactly halfway between the maple ridge location and the Pitt meadows location just off 203rd). When I informed him of this he said he could relay me to Pitt meadows. I said I wanted to speak to his manager. When I spoke to her I explained why it didn’t make sense to go to Pitt meadows and do this all over again. She said she was sorry but that if they sent their driver that it would put them behind. She then tried to explain that anything passed 207th is Pitt meadows. I told her that that was in fact not true. She then flat out refused to deliver to us. So I asked for the Pitt meadows number and was then told that the Pitt meadows location was closed for their Christmas party. I explained to her that this was my very first time ever trying them and that if this was the way it would be left that I wouldn’t be trying their store ever again. Not too impressed with this location. They don't care about proper work attire, cleanliness and cheap out on product. We went for a couple slices on a Friday night at 10pm only to find no pizza available. We had to wait 10 Minutes for them to cook a pizza and what were they putting out? Hawaiian! I used to work at a pizza joint and the rule was always to have pepperoni out as it's the #1 seller. So we waited, while waiting I noticed a few things, the girls were very in professional with hand cleanliness (ex touching their phones then the pizza etc.), one girl was wearing shorts so short her but cheeks were hanging out! That is a work hazard waiting to happen, and they had friends in the kitchen visiting like it was a hangout. After all of this they don't even offer the ranch or other sauces like other locations, and after getting the slices I noticed they used a smaller pan for their pizza so the slices were smaller as well. Never again will I order delivery from Pappa Leos. It took 1.5 hours for my pizzas to arrive!!! I ordered online on a Tuesday evening at approx. 5:20pm. At about 6:35pm, I called the store to ask where my pizza was. The girl on the phone didn't ask for my name or anything, just said that my pizza was on the way and that the driver had other drop-offs before mine. I told her that I didn't want a cold pizza, and she responded by saying the it had been under the heater prior to going out and should be in a bag in the car. At about 6:50pm, the driver arrived and ran up to my door. I asked to check the pizza prior to paying, and they weren't cold, but they certainly weren't all that hot either. After 1.5 hrs of waiting, I was quite hungry so I paid for and ate my pizza, but I will never be ordering delivery from Pappa Leos again. It should never take 1.5 hrs for a pizza delivery, especially when I live less than 10 mins from the store. ...
