Tea Rex 茶霸霸 — Restaurant in Markham

Tea Rex has become my new fave bbt spot! I’m so glad this store opened up right next to my building. The servers are always so nice, welcoming and take the time to thoroughly explain what’s in the drinks. They used to have a stamp card for their customer loyalty system which has now been changed to a tablet system. I’m not sure if Dylan is the owner but he is always super friendly and offered a huge discount when I brought in my old and unused stamp card - which he didn’t have to! I would recommend stopping by and trying their Peach Oolong Tea Latte, Kumquat Lime Green Tea or the Passion Fruit Green Tea....

I had a bubble tea craving, but instead of going to one of the big franchises, I decided to check out this newly opened shop...and I'm glad I did! They had a lot of interesting and unique flavours that I haven't seen elsewhere. The owner was kind of enough to describe the different ones to me. I got the osmanthaus sweet rice latte and it was really good! It was super refreshing and didn't feel heavy. The store itself was very clean and nicely decorated. Amazing BBT place, actually the best.

Normally I don't get a BBT for myself but just for my kid. But the amazing menu with variety of choices, different and better from all the big names. Taste great. Super friendly service. Now we are there at least once a week even making an extra trip to get there and I am getting one for myself everytime.

Also, do pay attention to the loyalty card, the stamps they put on, is not actually a stamp, it is free hand drawing every single time.
