Horrible Experience,Never go here
Let me explain,
Me and my friends went on June 30,2021. We went for the occasion that our close friend was travelling back to his home country in a few days. The place was overbooked so we had to wait an hour, this was understandable since the place was crowded, and with covid and whatnot, so we decided to go to one of our friendâs nearby apartment to stay there until we got the confirmation text to come for our table.
fast-forward about 45 mins, we were greeted by what seemed to be a nice waiter(Turns out theyâre only nice before itâs time to tip them) who gave us good service. Me and my 4 friends ordered separate meals, and then had appetizers after. We were very respectful of the place, werenât being too loud, and had a very positive attitude( i mention all of this because we are in high-school, and teenagers often have a reputation for being âdisrespectfulâ in public settings) Fast-forward an hour or two after weâre done all our meals and itâs time to pay, our server(same one weâve had since the beginning) brings us our separate cheques. Me and two other friends were not able to provide a tip since we were all short on money, after all weâre in high-school and the meals themselves are already expensive. Two of my other friends were able to tip her. Once we gave her the card reader back, I noticed a change in her face as she read the receipts. As my last friend was about to pay, she told us that âshe served us really well, and that we didn't give any tips and we should be ashamed.â I told her âyour service was good, but the meals are already expensive.â To which she repliedâ thats not my faultâ i told her i know its not, but arenât you already paid by the restaurant? And she says she makes below minimum wage and i told her thatâs not my concern and itâs something she should take up with the restaurant. Keep in mind, this isnât just a regular conversation, she had an aggressive tone and was almost yelling, despite there being tens of other customers around us, which Iâm sure she made uncomfortable since I know we definitely felt that way. She told my friend who tipped her that he should teach his friends some manners, and right before walking out the door, she shouted âi don't live at homeâ. I suppose she means she has bills to pay and I donât, which i still donât understand the relevancy of. I should not be forced to pay a tip, wether I can afford it or not, there is a reason it is optional. If she had a problem with how much she is paid she should take it up with her manager, not humiliate me and my friends in-front of everyone else there. We were excited to go and our experience ended up with embarrassment. If someone who is barely living and was only able to afford the meals and was short on tipping money, she wouldâve humiliated them too. This is a disgusting thing to do, and I truly donât understand how someone can be so unprofessional. This place should heavily reconsider who they decide to hire, as even the other customers told us after that she shouldnât even have talked to us that way. If youâre thinking of going here, make sure youâve got plenty of tipping money so you can keep a smile on her face, otherwise, youâre in for an...

Read moreUpdate: Iâve spent at least 5k on this Boston pizza in the last 2 years. Yesterday I made the mistake of drinking my booster juice by the backdoor (was planning to go in and a grab a beer afterwards). The cute always well-dressed chubby male manager with the clean shirt and the spiky hair came out and told me drinking alcohol by the premises wasnât allowed, I told him I wasnât drinking alcohol, just booster juice. I really had to use the bathroom because apparently I had consumed something that works as a laxative because of my specific biology. I went in to use the bathroom, the cute chubby male manager with the spiky hair kicked me out and told me to never come back lol. Manager 10/10, well dressed though always clean with the press shirt. Good job man. Chase away your most valuable customers and hurt them as a matter of fact. This is how the business works. Thanks to you this Boston Pizza lost one of its biggest customers and for now Iâm not welcome at my favorite bar because youâre a manager there. For now Iâll just become a regular at Turtle Jackâs by the mall I guess Or Axia. Always negotiate instead of giving ultimatums, save your ultimatums for never. Weâre all Human and we all make mistakes. I wouldnât fire him for this, his manager just needs to correct him, besides this incident, heâs always been good to me, obviously he has no intention of hurting anyone, and I made it to the toilet on time lol so all is well. Hey manager, Listen to The Grouch by Green Day
I hang out here alone Fridayâsđ„° I usually go for 1-2 pints of Blue Moon. They have it on draft.
Their pizza, pastas and chicken wings are pretty good.
I like Sandy, Jennifer and Kim here. Iâve had long conversations with all of them.
Sam makes very uncomfortable. I made small talk with her and we became cool with each other. 1 day I was going through some unusual emotions and cried at the bar, it was unexpected. Sam saw it. Jennifer came and re-assured me telling me that life can be rough sometimes. Sheâs empathetic, now Sam on the other hand wouldnât even look at my face anymore, and sheâs always giving me an attitude since that time. Despite me being a generous tipper all the past times she served me. She doesnât know what empathy is. Empathy is the Human Beingâs secret power. May God uncurse you, Sam. Do not punish another Human for having a heart. You must instead re-enforce it.
Wish you the best of luck in your...
