Pathetic Beware the fake 5 star reviews! Especially the one liners that mention server's names. It has become laughable how blatent the fake reviews have taken over Google reviews.
One person actually admits to being paid for their review. It did seem fishy that as soon as a critical or low & negative review is posted..right after 5-7 five star reviews are posted-usually by first time time reviewers or low activity reviewers. This is the their way way of keeping their scores up.
Food was actually fairly good except... Corn...frozen in a monkey dish not the half cob as pictured everywhere (menu, tv ads, outside building) watery & unseasoned. Fries unseasoned. Had to wait 15 minutes ask for ketchup. Steak was slightly overcooked. Way too much sour cream with the buffalo chicken quesadilla..franchise could save a few cents or 3% ;) Service 2 service staff/ 1 manager (later as self-identified owner) Nobody at the front door at arrival, no sign to seat yourself or wait to be seated. Greeting. Waited a bit at the door, but the bar side server/bartender noticed is and told our server and she came to seat us. Were told as we were presented menus that they were out of the promotional beer advertised everywhere. Drink order taken immediately and dropped at the table by the other server/bartender. Food order was taken by Sara(h) efficiently. Never saw her again until I had to hunt her down to pay. Food drop was done by manager/owner (silently-no words spoken by him). He never returned. Had to wait to catch server to get ketchup for the fries. Table checks were never done. No appearance by server for 2nd drink possibility. Finished meal Waited 25 minutes during which time there was no clearing of plates. No dessert offered And we continued to wait to pay. Stuck behind a table of 6 who were paying separately. Had to chase down server to pay...still couldn't pay as another table wanted to pay...spoke to manager/owner (now sitting at booth on his phone)who said that he has never served, bartended or cooked in a bar or restaurant...but now a franchisee. He hides in the kitchen waiting to run food and joking with the cook(s). He doesn't greet, doesn't seem to know how to take an order, doesn't do table checks, bus tables- basically just a food runner. Clueless as to what is happening in the room. The manager/owner wasn't any help to the server when she obviously could have used help I get that operating margins are tight and scheduling staff can be difficult. Sometimes business levels are greater than forecasted but it is exactly this kind of franchisee training that sets operators and staff up for success, not failure. I wasn't looking to be compensated but no compensation was offered. Obsidian group seems eager to sell franchises but their advertised 'hands on training' certainly wasn't in evidence. A final note Obsidian... Please don't respond to this asking for my info in an obvious attempt to take the issues offline and pretend you care. Edit 1: They responded, as I expected. A PR formulated response to take it offline and seem like they care. They don't... Edit 2: Not only didn't they respond. They deleted their formulated PR plea Then they put the pr response back again Wow, just wow. How dishonest. Edit 3: It is absurdly funny now how many fake or friend or employee reviews come after each bad review they get. Notice how they all use the server's name... sometimes first and last name. How many server's give you their first...
Read moreI visited this location with my husband and 13 year old son this past Friday. We arrived shortly after 9pm to take advantage of the half price appetizers. When greeted, we asked for a booth but none were available for 3 people; two corner booths were available but we were told that those are only given to parties of 5. We asked if we could wait at the bar and be called if a smaller booth became available. The hostess said we could sit and wait, or we could just order at the bar. We decided to dine at the bar, as there were tables available there. We were not given menus, so, after a few minutes, I went and grabbed some from the front myself. A waitress came around after about 10 minutes and took our drink and dinner orders. Shortly after this, the manager came by and told us that we could not sit in the bar area. There was some back and forth because we couldn't quite understand what the reason was... it turned out that minors apparently are not allowed to sit in the bar area. I found this to be strange as we've dined in many bars with our son (Keg, Milestones) and have never encountered this issue. A patron next to us overheard and tried to explain that this rule did not apply if the parents of said minor were present, but the manager would not have it. This was frustrating because 2 employees were completely fine with us sitting there. Regardless, we acquiesced, and after a few minutes we were moved to a small booth. Unfortunately, the staff forgot about our food. We know this because we watched people who ordered after us already eating their dinners. After 2 reminders, and more than 30 minutes, the manager apologized when he finally brought our dinner but didn't offer anything for our trouble. My husband ordered a steak, which he liked, my son ordered wings and fries, which he enjoyed, and I ordered ribs with fries. My fries were soft, not crispy like I had requested, but the ribs were fine. My dinner was a bit lack luster as nothing else was included (no veggies or other sides). We ordered dessert: 2 ice cream desserts and a pastry dessert topped with ice cream for me. The ice cream desserts were delivered in a timely manner, but my pastry dessert was not brought out. After 20 minutes, I finally asked if it was coming. 7 minutes later it arrived. The pastry was not warm, as stated on the menu, and appeared to have been standing for quite some time. The ice cream wasn't even melting. The manager didn't apologize for bringing my dessert so late, even though my son and husband had long finished theirs. We dine out often enough to know that when a restaurant makes this many errors, they at least pay closer attention to the customers to ensure no further issues arise. Many other restaurants also offer to cover a small portion of the meal or dessert if they make errors . This place did neither. There was almost no customer service, and very poor communication amongst the staff regarding initial seating and transitioning of our dinner order. We did not have one consistent server which likely caused a lot of confusion. Ultimately the manager who kicked us out of the bar did not do a very good job of transitioning us to the dining room and ensuring our food was delivered. The same manager also did nothing to remedy all of the confusion and mistakes on his end. We still tipped the waiter who brought us the bill because we know that this is a tough industry, but we will definitely not be returning to...
Read moreCame here with 3 of my other friends and honestly, we should of left right away when no one was serving us for 30 mins.
We had came in, and asked to sit outside on the patio, which they had placed us on the left side when you walk outside. From that point, we should of left because no one comes to that table. We waited for 30mins before a waitress even came up to us, and they only served us because I called them over.
At first, waitress were coming in and out, would stare at us but not come talk to us, until I asked someone for help, she told me hold on for 2 mins, which made it for like 10 mins. Then the guy at the bar came to take our order because the "2 mins waitress" told him to go help us.
We had ordered 3 pounds of honey garlic wings, pickles and pan bread. The food itself was warm, not even hot, and the chicken was dry. And when we were asking for a refill, it took them another 10mins to give that to us.
Overall, I would never recommend this Chucks location. I was cashing myself out and my friends because the worker just left us w the machine. And I had to ask for take out box like 4x before she even gave it to me. One of my friends use to work at this location and they even told me this place went down here and I should of taken her word. Would avoid this location all cost unless you dont care about shitty service and waiting for 30mins to be served.
UPDATE AUG 15- Came back to this restaurant with my friend because unfortunately this was the only one open at 2 am. The service was slightly better and the wings were not as dry as before.
HOWEVER, when asking for a refill, instead of them giving us a new cup and straw then taking the old ones back after giving us the new refilled ones, this time they would take the cup that we were using, go to the back then come hand it back to us.
TONIGHT, the waitress came to my table with coke and Nestea refilled, me and my table assume that she just brought us another set, so I told her I actually need a refill, so she decided to give me the one she brought on the tray, TO FIND OUT, THE ONE SHE GAVE ME WAS SOMEONE ELSES CUP AND THEY HAD THE SAME DRINK AS ME. I knew this was someone's cup because the straw was all bitten up when I was tempted to drink out of it. Once I had told her that she gave me someone's else's cup and I want a new cup and straw cause that was discussing, she was refusing at first and finally gave me a new cup or straw (I have 0 clue)
The service here is VERY questionable. Even one of the waiters gave someone else order to a different table, and once he realize that, those kids had already eaten the food and it was huge thing. You guys needs to get your things together for real causes there's always some sort bad service.
UPDATE AUG 21- I sent you guys an email with the receipt on Aug 16, and 0 response. You guys are truly a huge joke. Customer service is...
