My friends and I came here originally on August 9, 2024 for dinner to celebrate a birthday and had a terrible experience. The owner reached out to me and apologized for the poor experience. If you look at the reviews this location has, they’re all basically great and we were surprised that we had such a bad experience. When the owner reached out, he asked if we would be willing to give the restaurant another try and would cover a portion of the bill. I was impressed that he took ownership of what happened even though he wasn’t there.
The first time we went here was two years ago and we had a wonderful experience overall. The second time around was not good. Our server barely checked-in on us, forgot that we were celebrating someone’s birthday, and the food was not so great (some came out cold and dry). We were surprised this experience was awful given that the first time was wonderful in 2023.
This time around (2024), our server was wonderful. Her name is Savannah. She was extremely attentive and friendly. She greeted us with a smile when introducing herself to the table. Throughout the dinner, she checked-in on my friends and I every so often to ensure that we were comfortable. We never had to ask for water because when she saw that we were running low, she would either get us a brand new water or ask if we wanted any refills.
We ordered appetizers and mains.
Appetizers were: -Four Cheese Spinach Dip -Cajun Fried Shrimp (do not recommend this as it was very salty) -Roadhouse Garlic Cheese Toast
Main courses: -Fajitas for one with steak -Chicken Bites Dinner with BBQ sauce -Crunchy Chicken Mac 'N' Cheese -Alfredo Chicken Pasta with tomato sauce instead of alfredo -Chicken Parm
Dessert: -White Chocolate Cheesecake (on the house)
All the main courses we tried were wonderful. If you’re in the area, I recommend giving this restaurant a try. Thank you Ram for reaching out to rectify our past poor experience. All the attendees and I can tell that you truly do care about your guests and their experiences at your establishment. Thank you to our server, Savannah who was wonderful. Definitely ask for her if you can....
Read moreIt’s so unfortunate to be writing a review like this, since I have been coming to this location for many years and never had any terrible service/experiences. My friend and I come here a lot, we had went to Kelsey’s last night. After being seated, we had no one come help us when there were plenty of servers passing by our table giving us slight looks but still decided to not acknowledge us—a specific waitress was serving our section, and still decided to look at us and not come to our table to help us. After 30 minutes of being there, someone had came up to us and said that they would be back to help us and never did. We finally hit the 50 minute mark and asked the hostess cleaning up one of the tables to get a manager because of the absurd amount of waiting time we experienced. First and foremost when the manager came, we had expressed our frustration, and she looked like she did not care at all whatsoever, and didn’t even apologize for the service of her employees. We ended up getting an appetizer— before our appetizer came out, we were handed plates by the original waitress that was serving the section and again no apologies were made. My friend and I were incredibly in disbelief due to the poor hospitality by the staff and manager. Due to this my friend, and I decided to not tip— while ringing the bill up, my friend decided to tell our waitress that we had never experienced something like this before— she had apologized, but had given a bunch of excuses, saying that she had no idea, and that she was not serving our section which is hard to believe. Furthermore, went on to say that because she has been working at this location for one year and that her manager made her work our table And said oh, now I have to deal this making us more disappointed due to making it seem like she did not want to do her job—Genuinely I don’t think we will be coming back to this specific location and may go elsewhere next time. I highly advise that anyone higher up than the manager really keeps a close eye on their serving staff as well as their...
Read moreI don’t normally leave reviews, and I’ve debated posting this since it happened last week (august 7th) but I genuinely feel that people should be aware of the kind of environment that exists at this Kelsey’s location. What I witnessed was not only unprofessional — it was deeply disturbing. During my visit, the manager on duty — who appeared to be heavily pregnant — was aggressively yelling at staff members right on the restaurant floor, within full view and earshot of customers. I was sitting nearby and could clearly hear every word. It wasn’t just a firm correction or a bad day — it was an outright public meltdown, complete with raised voices, harsh language, and what honestly looked like verbal abuse. The tone and delivery were shocking and completely inappropriate for any workplace, let alone a customer-facing restaurant. The servers looked clearly shaken, one of them even looked like they were holding back tears. I felt incredibly uncomfortable and honestly a bit heartbroken for the staff who had to endure that kind of treatment while just trying to do their jobs. I can’t imagine how stressful it must be to work under that kind of hostile management. I want to be clear — I have no issue with someone being pregnant. That’s not what this is about. But pregnancy doesn’t justify screaming at staff or creating a toxic, intimidating environment. If anything, as a leader, you should be setting the tone for the workplace — and this was the exact opposite of that. I left feeling deeply unsettled and have no plans to return. The food and service weren’t even memorable because the entire experience was overshadowed by this scene. Management needs to seriously evaluate how situations like this are handled — because what I witnessed was not just bad management, it was emotional abuse in a...
